Let’s discuss Fencing…
Some people see their fence as just a boundary and to stop the kids and dog getting out.
Some see it as the first security measure to keep people out of their property or to block out the nosey neighbours.
Some see it like me, it is part of my house and property and I want it to look good because I see it everyday and I will for many years.
There are lots of fencing options available to suit all budgets and we can supply and install them all on request.
If you are unsure on what fencing suits you or your budget best please see my below personal run down on fencing.
Timber fencing:
There are so many different styles of timber fencing available to choose from and timber fencing tends to be the cheapest option available.
The timber is professionally treated when we purchase it from our suppliers, so no need to do anything to the fencing straight after installation.
We do suggest further treatment or painting of your fencing to extend its longevity.
However the “all timber fence” has the lowest lifespan of all the fencing options available.
Concrete posts and gravel boards with timber panels:
The next step up in budget, however this will improve the longevity of the timber panels as they have less direct contact with soil/grass etc plus if a panel breaks or erodes over time they can be replaced individually or when your budget allows.
There are lots of different styles, shapes, sizes of timber panels available to choose from ranging in prices to suit any budget.
Composite fencing:
The most expensive simple as that…. but composite will last much longer than timber it’s waterproof.
Personally, i think composite looks better by a country mile?
The composite fencing is available in different colours (please see the colours available on the attached photo)
You can have coloured composite posts to match your fence panels or different colour composite posts from your panels to make a personnel statement.
You can have composite fence panels with
new or old concrete posts and gravel boards if you prefer to save on budget.
Please see the attached photos of some of the composite fencing we have completed.
