Another very happy customer

A recent en suite shower room had not been used for over 6 years due to a previous leak and various other issues with the shower tray and walls.
We went in and stripped the whole room and took the top layer of plasterboard off.
What did we find...huge amounts of mould and damp where the shower had previously leaked badly. After yet more stripping back and prepping, we began to rebuild and got to the finished product you see below.

Personally I love the tiles the customer chose and think it makes this tiny room look a lot bigger and more stylish.

So today's job was interesting...

A bath filler mixer tap was leaking and needed to be replaced. The issue...it was on the far corner of the bath with no access. Solution...cut an access hole in the wall in the adjacent room and to reach it and fit an access panel for future use to seal it.

Then we encountered another issue...the previous installers had cut a huge oversized hole in the bath for the tap and bodged it. Most modern taps (including the one we had as a replacement) would just slip straight through the hole. Big problem.
Solution...get a custom made stainless steel plate cut at a metal fabricators and then file out a recess for the horseshoe thread to make a bespoke fit base plate.

The customer was blown away by what we'd done and was very happy with their new tap.

New bathroom start today. Masses of tiles to strip off so it's sweatsville central.

Lovely new shower enclosure fitted in an existing bathroom. Tray and tiles all scrubbed and cleaned and new seals all round.

Currently in the thick of our next job and it's a belter. This time we've taken an old downstairs spa bath room and going to turn it into a sleek and stylish steam shower room for an elderly couple who deserve all the relaxation time they can get.

A few cheeky before and during photos of the room and of the Eden Steam Showers quick lights demo once we'd powered the enclosure up. More photos to follow when we've finished. Follow up post with a quick video of the lights in the enclosure on next post. Enjoy.

Manic day so far. Two visits to customers in need of our services completed and onto a third later.

Just enough time to sink a delicious sandwich made by the matriarch of the business Teresa (mum).

Soooooo, onto our next job. This time it's an old, deep, chunky spa bath in a downstairs bathroom. The whole lot is coming out and we've got an ultra modern, steam shower enclosure to install.
