Our customer had very much done her research and had a clear idea of what she wanted to achieve with her new kitchen.

It included warm tones from the timber slab doors which she matched perfectly with the wooden flooring and regiment light green island. The Scandinavian style makes perfect use of simple, yet striking brass fittings that perfectly complement the other colour tones.

As the customers' previous kitchen didn’t have enough storage, extra tall units were paramount and so were included, along with an integrated bin, pull-out mechanisms on either side of the drawers in the island - which was to face out towards the garden and creating an inviting in/out kitchen and garden space.

Kitchen Range: Porter Matt Graphite w/ Bespoke Concrete Wall Units and Brushed Brass Rail Profile

Mike & Lucy refurbished the whole of their new home; as well as opening up the kitchen/dining area to create a huge open plan space to cook, eat, entertain, and socialise with friends and family.

The idea was to create something unique, but understated with clean lines and a Germanic feel using a handleless rail system. We opted for a graphite slab door, with some feature concrete wall units to break up the dark colours. The worksurfaces are Dekton Lunar, but created with a mitred downstand for a 60mm thickness; this was the perfect worksurface for a busy household; meaning they would not have to worry about chopping directly on the worksurface or putting down hot dishes.

With 6 in the family, there are plenty of mouths to feed; so lots of cold storage is important; we opted for a full height built-in fridge and full-height built-in freezer to give them maximum cold storage in the kitchen; and overflow storage in the garage if needed.

Two Neff ovens give lots of cooking ability; with a large induction hob to suit. There is a built-in microwave/combination oven as well as a built-in coffee machine to complete the bank of 4 appliances.

The Quooker hot tap provides them with instant boiling and filtered water; which is also a must for busy schedules who don't want to wait for the kettle to boil.

Kitchen Range: 1909 Shaker (Stone)

The client had done her research and was really interested in 1909 Shaker to complement her beautiful period property.
1909 is a stunning range but emphasises quality joinery which includes solid-topped cabinets but balanced with solid timber in frame doors in a uniquely smooth finish

Keeping with the warm tones opted to go for stone as it's a stunning neutral tone to work with to complement the subtlety of the marbled white quartz worktops. Herringbone flooring only adds to this timeless kitchen.
