"You adulteresses, do you not know that friendship with the world is hostility toward God? Therefore whoever wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God."
(James 4.4)

Marriage is under attack in our modern generation and the consequences of breaking the Marriage vows especially in adultery is evident in the break up of the family unite and the society's in which we live,
James in our text compairs the believer, would be christian that is seeking to break their covenant relationship with God, their Covent obligations to God and his church, to an adulteressess, that is a married woman that commits adultery, which is common practice today both in the world and the church.
This adultery is to seek to be a friend of the world by being unfaithful to God his word, their covenant promises to Him, it is loving the world the things of the world more than God.
James says "do you not know that friendship with the world is hostility toward God? "
By being a friend of the world, following ing their sinful customs their ways to please them and so be reconciled to them a believer alienates themselves from God making themselves his enemies.
My believing friends if you seek willfully to be intimate with the world then you become hostile to God, you become His enemy by your own choice.
"whoever wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God."

It is your choice choose carefully, choose God, choose again to honor your covenant vows to God, which you made through your faith in Jesus christ, to love, obey and serve Him in the confines of His church by fulfilling the duties of such a covenant relationship as set out in God's word the Holy Scriptures all the days of your life here on earth ,that you may live forever with the Lord in heavens everlasting glory.

Choose as Joshua did and as he directed the people of Israel to choose.

And if it seems evil to you to serve the LORD, choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the River, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you dwell. But as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.”
Reafirm you covenant love to God today on this His holy day the Lords day.

My unbelieving friend you to must make a choice weather to remain an enemy of God or to become His friend.
To be a friend of God you must confess that you have sinned against God, for all have sinned against God , acknowledge and believe in Jesus christ alone for eternal salvation for Jesus is the only savior of the world.

Good morning to all, I am posting this add to seek to advertise my mastic asphalt business.
To my mind and history bears this out, mastic asphalt is, without doubt, the best waterproofing system ever developed.
It can be applied to most solid structures, moulded to any shape, it's uses include flat roofs, walkways, car parks, roads, over concrete steps

Below is a brief history of mastic asphalt-

Mastic Asphalt is one of the world’s most traditional waterproofing materials and has had a long and successful history, providing unbeatable protection from water pe*******on for centuries. Renowned for its high quality appearance and robust nature, when was it first used and what makes it so appealing today?

A material that can boast a history dating back to the Phoenicians, the product was patented by Mr Claridge in Paris in 1837 and mastic asphalt became known as Claridge’s Patent Asphalt. Mastic asphalt has maintained its place as the waterproofing material of choice throughout the centuries and is still specified today for many of the UK’s most prestigious buildings from St Paul’s Cathedral to Buckingham Palace.

This traditional material, comprising of limestone aggregates bound together with bitumen and more recently, modern polymers, is robust enough to withstand both foot and vehicular traffic and is both non-toxic and non-flammable. Its durability of use is one of its major benefits, with no application too tricky.

Offering a life expectancy of 50 years and more, this versatile waterproof membrane provides such excellent wear and is the ideal solution for a range of buildings including schools, offices, shopping centres, hotels and even churches.

Highly cost-effective, mastic asphalt offers lower installation costs than many other types of membranes. The material can be delivered to site, direct from the factory, at the correct temperature for instant installation. Hot charge transporters and insulated dumpers make this possible. One 15 tonne hot charge delivery vehicle can supply enough mastic asphalt to lay 300 square metres of material to a depth of 20mm. Its versatility makes it the ideal choice for not only flat roofing but also flooring and paving.

As if mastic asphalt’s reliability, cost-effectiveness and durability weren’t enough, it is also seen as one of the greenest construction materials in the UK.

Its eco-friendly qualities are appealing to specifiers who are increasingly more environmentally aware, providing a surge in interest for this most traditional of methods. When the mastic asphalt eventually does reach the end of its life, it can be recycled and broken down into hardcore or used in mastic asphalt roof screeds, helping protect the environment as well as the building for years to come.

In 2008, the UK mastic industry became the first in the world to achieve the CarbonZero standard. This means anyone choosing mastic asphalt as a means of waterproofing will enjoy the peace of mind that their developments will be 100% carbon neutral. The Mastic Asphalt Council’s (MAC) Carbon 100 initiative also ensures that thousands of associated sub-contractors also meet the stringent CarbonZero standard
