What a mental couple of weeks transforming this area from unsightly and overgrown to a tidy and functional space with 2 small decks, a venetian fence and large set of concrete block steps.

Now to down tools for 10 days away in the sun (as if we aren't already sunburnt enough) 😂

Our latest patio and pergola project just got wrapped up today, transforming this uneven and empty garden area into the prime barbecue spot for summer!

The whole area got dug out by hand and 3 tree stumps removed. We infilled with 6 tonnes of compacted sub-base and laid these mixed size sandstone slabs on a thick bed of mortar and pointed the joints to finish it up.

The pergola is constructed for 6x6" posts set into the ground with post saver sleeves and 6x2" mortised rafters with the roof border bolted through the posts for a durable and long lasting installation.

We still have spaces available for similar projects to transform your space before summer is over!

It's patio season for us and here's patio 2 of 3 in as many weeks... This one is Indian sandstone, with slabs cut to form upstands to retain the soil from the wisteria and to skirt the bottom of the low stone wall.

I have no idea what went wrong to cause the previous balcony deck to rot so severely in just the last 10 years but our new one is going to last much better! We removed and disposed of the old installation, rebuilt the frame from quality timber, treated it all with wood preserver and then laid these stylish Cladco industrial grade composite planks. We also found the time to rip out and rebuild doors for the garden shed while we were at it.

Last week's job was to transform this overgrown and unused corner of the garden to a 2-tier sandstone slab patio. We removed about 5 tonnes of earth, weeds and gravel and infilled with a thick hardcore base before laying the slabs on a solid bed of mortar. Just finished it up today with a good clear up of the whole area and the customer is super happy to now have this area to use for the summer!

After months with their new kitchen still looking unfinished, this customer was happy to finally get the tiling done to finish the place off!

Just finished reinstating this tiled bathroom floor after a leak from the shower rotted out the plywood below. We took the whole lot out, laid cement backer boards over the underfloor heating and re-tiled with these large format glossy floor tiles and grey grout, before putting the vanity unit and toilet back and replacing the skirting. Tomorrow we will finish the spruce up with a lick of paint to the walls, ceiling woodwork and vanity!

Here's a full 2 month renovation we did on this 2 bed flat in townstal from the middle of last year, which was a complete bare shell when we started! (You do not want to see the before photos) 😂
