📍King’s Norton, Birmingham
We’re pleased to share that our integrated works at Veolia King’s Norton have been progressing well 🚧🦺
Supporting the redevelopment of the King’s Norton Household Recycling Centre, part of Birmingham City Council’s investment, works continue to progress well on site, with both our demolition and civils teams delivering side by side on this major scheme.
For civils, key milestones include the installation of the ring beam, 100 metres of sheet piling alongside the canal, and construction of the sprinkler tank base - capable of holding 1.2 million litres of water, making it the largest base we’ve ever built for this purpose. Deep drainage works are also ongoing, with the project set to continue into next year.
Well done to everyone involved for the continued progress on site!
🗨️ Jack Lunn, Civils & Groundworks Project Manager: “Being part of the King's Norton redevelopment is a great opportunity to demonstrate the strength of our integrated approach. By combining demolition, enabling works, and civils delivery, we’re helping the client progress the project efficiently and safely while preparing the site for its next generation of public recycling services."
