Something occurred to me last night. I normally post and promote myself with carpentry work...wardrobes, cupboards etc. But dont forget, I still do the basics.....fence painting, shed refelting, shelves, putting up pictures etc.

No job too small.

Lovely end to the week. Sadly I forgot to take a before picture but it was an old panelled banister. Customer wanted it changing to spindles. There were some challenging moments and obstacles but it worked out very nicely.
What a great couple to work for too. Bacon butties and coffees! 👍.

Lovely little job for the last few days. Really nice customer in disley. They wanted bespoke shelving for baskets and a chest of drawers with trim detailing to transform a useless understairs area.

Mission accomplished I think..

This week's job was to make a bespoke fitted wardrobe in an alcove and also a set of drawers and desk. Turned out well....

I would just like to set the record straight on a few key points about my business and my services;

I have many many wonderful customers, and I also have some customers who seem to think they either own me or have tge right to treat me like im some sort of bob a job lad or errand boy.

If I quote a price to do a job. The price is the price. If you somehow think it should have taken me longer, but I got it done slightly quicker (maybe everything just went my way...no obstacles etc) then you are not automatically entitled to a discount or to constantly ask me to do extra jobs "while im there".

Of course, I am happy to quote for extra jobs but you dont then get to look at me like im something youve scraped off your shoe if I dont do them there and then....or for FREE!

You also dont have the right to tell me I can't have lunch and also dictate what hours i work.

Im sincerely sorry for the rant but I get this on a daily basis and its taking its toll.
