It was satifisying to see this commercial unit fully rewired after a recent failed EICR.

This one came with its challenges, as it was a fully occupied workspace that needed to remain operational throughout the project. Careful planning and phased working meant we were able to keep power on each day while ensuring the installation was left safe and compliant, so the tenants were still able to trade.

9 energy efficient LED internal lights

We recently completed a full rewire of an occupied home in Doncaster.

We installed new lighting, socket outlets throughout, and compliant bathroom ventilation. As the property is still lived in while awaiting plastering, we fitted temporary socket and switch shields. These allow safe, full use of all accessories, protect them during plastering, and leave a clean finish once removed.

All our rewires come as standard with Hager SPD RCBO consumer units, interlinked smoke detection, and protected cabling using metal capping or oval conduit.

As we’re heading towards Christmas, it’s been a busy month here at Quantum Electrical with all sorts of jobs getting ticked off! 🎄⚡

•A couple of kitchen refurbs for a local joinery company
• Consumer unit upgrades
• Installed a 3 phase distribution board with full containment and supplies for CNC machines and a cross-cut saw in a machine shop

A lovely bathroom completed in partnership with JTN plumbing and heating.

We installed LED integrated spotlights, an in-line extract fan with a ceiling mounted inlet grille, niche LED strip lighting, and matching electric mirrors with wall-mounted toothbrush chargers above the dual sinks. All accessories were finished in matt black to match bathroom accessories.

First fix is progressing well in Doncaster on a large new build property with a big spec throughout.

The lighting design in this project is going to be mega, as we’re installing LED feature lighting using LED strip and profile, a full layout of spotlights, and several statement chandeliers.

A bit of a change of scenery this week heading out to the Brecon Beacons in Wales, to a National Trust farm where we’ve been working alongside WINTECH MODULAR PROJECTS LTD.

Our team installed the electrical supplies for a pair of modular buildings which were originally wired up in Doncaster, then transported down to Wales where we carried out the final connections and commissioning on site.

It’s always great to see projects like this come together, especially in such a nice place!

Another project completed in Braithwaite, this time a beautiful extension.

We’ve recently been back to second fix on this absolutely stunning extension, and it’s looking great.

Groovy multi-coloured glass pendants, elegant glass wall lights and decorative sockets and accessories throughout, with some stylish lantern lighting to the exterior.

It’s been a pleasure bringing this one to life, with the lighting really adding character.

Another rewire completed, this time in Moorends.

The customer already had a holiday booked, but following an unsatisfactory EICR test, it became clear that a full rewire was needed for safety.

We were able to arrange dates to complete the work while they were away, ready for their return, meaning no down time for the customer.

All cables protected with capping or oval conduit as standard, ready for plastering repairs.
