A very satisfying job, pruning back and tidying this garden, that had become overgrown. Revealing the original design and letting the light pour back in, while still maintaining privacy from the properties around.

Just finished this slatted fence for a client, before a new development starts in the field behind their property. Designed to allow the wind to pass through it, whilst still providing privacy.
A stylish alternative to traditional fencing.

Back to fix a couple of slabs, clean the patio and re grout it and the path.

An old fan shaped pergola had rotted and fallen down, so we pruned the roses back and built a new pergola, following the original design.
The customer is very pleased, as the original held great sentimental value for them.

Tuesday saw the official opening of the Sensory Garden @ Dorset County Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, that I had the pleasure of designing with Garden Design by Michelle Brown in my last year at Kingston Maurward College. It was so exciting to see the garden taking shape and I’m really looking forward to seeing my Peace Gate design,built by Dorchester Men's Shed, installed. This has been a great sustainable, community, project, with everyone being brought together by the fabulous team at DCH.
My sincere hope for this garden, is that it will be a place of peace, a retreat from all that the day has brought, for both staff and patients alike.
