ARE YOU HANDY WITH ARC AND MIG WELDING AND CAN TURN YOUR HANDS TO CLASSIC DIESEL ENGINES AS WELL AS 2 STROKE PETROL. THEN JOIN OUR TEAM.
We are looking for a self motivated general engineer/ yard technician to run our Dover yard.
Part time to start with additional hours as required. On a self-employed basis.
NO FORMAL QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED but a full driving licence is and aged 30+ for insurance reasons.

JL Enablement has taken a back seat for the past few years, whilst I explored other avenues and now I am looking at re-establishing the company.

As before we will offer a variety of
enablement services allowing those that struggle to access their community the independence they deserve.

Boat yard vacancy for a self motivated person able to work on their own as well as part of a team however mostly working on their own.
General vessel maintenance.
A good knowledge of vessel construction.
Ribs, steel boats, GRP boats.
Core skills must include.
1.Welding (arc and mig)
2.General engineering diesel inboard and petrol outboard.
3.Basic electrical.
4.GRP work.
5.Painting.
No formal qualifications required but good skills in the above is essential.
Full driving licence required.
For insurance reasons a minimum age of 30 applies.
This is a part time position but extra hours/days may be required.
Must be local to Dover.

As we last said the testing with HVO fuel was and is a total success with our Nato Schottel tugs with no side affects except the reduction in harmful emotions by up to 90% we extended it to our trusty defender. The early results are positive so we've extended the testing again. Our trusty disco 3 DTV6 is now running on HVO it is our belief these two older motors are clearer for the environment that a vehicle with euro 7 and possibly kinder to the environment than EV

We are pleased to say the HVO fuel testing with our Nato Schottel tug fleet has been such a success reducing the emissions by up to 90% making them cleaner than a new build with emission controls we now testing HVO with our trusty land rover 2.4 diesel. If successful the reliability should improve with emissions reduction by up to 90%. This could possibly be more environmentally friendly than electric as there's no lithium and the land rover is not a throw away vehicle
