Boat yard vacancy for a self motivated person able to work on their own as well as part of a team however mostly working on their own.
General vessel maintenance.
A good knowledge of vessel construction.
Ribs, steel boats, GRP boats.
Core skills must include.
1.Welding (arc and mig)
2.General engineering diesel inboard and petrol outboard.
3.Basic electrical.
4.GRP work.
5.Painting.
No formal qualifications required but good skills in the above is essential.
Full driving licence required.
For insurance reasons a minimum age of 30 applies.
This is a part time position but extra hours/days may be required.
Must be local to Dover.
