👏 Another project completed, another happy client!

A fantastic effort from the team this week as we successfully completed surfacing works for our valued client, Guildcrest Homes, at their stunning Rose Hill, Ash development.

This week’s works included:

✅ 8 tonnes of AC6 surface course, hand-laid to the footways.
✅ 36 tonnes of SMA10 laid at the site entrance, ready to welcome residents from Monday.

Projects like this don’t happen without the dedication, skill, and teamwork of everyone on site.

A huge thank you to our incredible team for consistently delivering a high-quality finish, safely and on schedule.

We’re also grateful to Guildcrest Homes for their continued trust and partnership. It’s always a pleasure to be part of bringing quality developments to life.

Our dedicated team is busy installing rebar and formwork as we prepare to pour the foundations for the first four plots.

The sun is shining, and the team is smiling, it's a pleasure to be working on a dry site after an extremely wet start to the year 😎🌞

It’s exciting to witness these homes beginning to take shape, and we’re thrilled to be part of this journey👷‍♂️🏡

🚧 Just completed a litted dropped kerb last week in Herne Bay for a residential customer

🏡We carry out numerous projects like this every week, but we rarely get the chance to capture the moment.

As a highways-approved contractor with all in-house resources, we handle everything for you, from dealing with the highway application to obtaining the relevant permissions, managing the permit applications, and finally executing the job to the required specifications.

We’re proud to be the chosen build partner for Quinn Estates on this exciting project at Grove Park 🚧🏗️

The piling mat is down, and Southern Piling is on site working alongside our team as we begin forming the spine road.

With 130 piles totaling a cumulative depth of 1,495m, we're laying strong foundations for these future 2 & 3-bedroom homes.

It's a significant milestone in bringing this development to life, and we’re excited to continue our journey together! 💪

🌟 Kudos to our Tarmac Team! 🌟

Last week, our dedicated crew successfully hand-laid 96 tons of AC20 binder and 20 tons of AC6 surface during an intense heat wave 💪

☀️Over three days, we covered 350 m² at a depth of 150mm in three layers, ensuring timely delivery for our valued client, Jenner Contractors, at their Dover Beacon site.

This achievement reflects the hard work and commitment of our team to meet project schedules within the permit window.

A solid effort all around! 👏

🚧 Another Successful Project Completed! 🚧

We’ve just wrapped up another job for Fuse Rail Ltd at the Hithergreen Network Rail Depot.

Here’s a snapshot of what we accomplished:

Trief kerbs laid to retain the new car park levels and manage surface water runoff from the rail tracks.

Filled with Type 1 and topped with 220mm of tarmac.

The existing area was planed off to accommodate a 40mm surface course.

Stepped tie-ins were planed for the base and binder, with hot tacked and hot bitumen applied to the vertical joints.

Finally, we completed new road markings, including EV logos, in preparation for our client to install their EV charging equipment.

Great teamwork all around 🙌

🚜 Great Work from Our Tarmac Team! 🚜

I’m proud to share that our hand lay tarmac team successfully completed a 500m² access road and driveway for RR Group in Dover over the past two days.

It was quite the challenge as we couldn’t get the lorry down the track, but the team pushed through with determinatio, thankfully, we had gravity on our side 💥

We managed to lay it in one day and topped it off the next with no joints, resulting in a seamless, smooth finish.

Well done, team! 💪

🔧 Project Update from Aldington!

We’re making great strides in enabling works for the installation of a Klargester sewage treatment plant, which has been signed off by building control to secure our planning before the developer's deadline.

Site hoarding has been erected, ensuring the area is secure.

Demolition license obtained, and utility diversions are booked in.

Ready to demolish the old dairy farm and proceed with archaeological digs as we build out the project.
