As much as this page may go quiet, it doesn't mean we are sitting at home.
It just means Ive forgotten before & after pics of the same job.
We remove and reduce a lot of trees, along with hedges. We also plant trees & hedges.
The off shoot of these tasks is stump grinding and firewood.
Then along side that, we also build fences and garden structures, aswell as lay patios & paths..

Most of this week has been spent rejuvenating an old Orchard. It's been quite a few years since anything was pruned, as many trees were covered in Ivy.
It will take a few visits over a few seasons to fully thin & reduce these trees.
However there's still plenty of life in them and there will be fruit this year..

After a snow start to the new year, I'm pleased to say we are back up and running.
Most of January is pruning fruit trees & planting hedges for us.
Alongside this, we are out reducing trees and hedges.
This is the only time of year to reduce sliver birch trees, as these are very delicate trees.

If you'd like some help in the garden from cutting back and clearance work.
To tree reductions ( crown lifts & crown reductions & pollarding )
We also trim & reduce hedges.
All waste cleared.
Licenced waste carries.

Another week and more of the same really.
We are still reducing hedges ( conifers ).
Beech is a February job..
More trees coming down along with a lap of the stump grinder.
And just for a twist, an Astro turf project on the go..

Bare root trees and hedging are now available, so as of next week we can start plant both trees and hedges. Always nice to put some back in..

A chilly week with more of the same type of jobs really... Trees, hedges, log splitting & woodchip deliveries. Also pleased to say that the new lawn sown a few weeks ago are up, just in time.. ( before the first frosts )
