Lime pointing recently completed on this lovely old cottage, with a mixture of cement mortar repairs and crumbling joints the customers asked for the front elevation to be repointed with lime mortar.

The Marmite of roofing, flat roofs you ever love them or hate them.
This customer decided his leaking flat roof needed replacing and decided to go for a pitched roof.

Returned to a regular customer where two jobs needed to be completed, first was a LPG gas tank that had to be removed due to change in heating supply .
It was recommended that it must be dug out by hand and not with a digger due to the tank still having gas inside which was fun digging 5ft deep in compacted clay.
Next was to make additional parking area and a new fence , we went for digging out existing garden and laying compacted type 1 mot with membrane in conjunction with driveway grids blinded with 10mm grey chipping, and the fence was replaced with feather edge panels and wooden posts with wooden sleepers to retain the garden.

Customer decided it was time to say goodbye to the original lounge fireplace and say hello to the modern log burner.

Garden wall rebuild completed last year,
The soul purpose of rebuilding was due to the wall being dangerously close to fallen down .
Rebuilt with all the original stone / brick using lime mortar supplied by limebase at isle brewers.

A recent fencing job carried out replacing the old 4ft overlap style panel and 1ft trellis with
5ft feather edge panels and 4x4 posts.
Still given the sense of enclosure but with the ability to view the natural surroundings.
