The manufacturing team are starting the week by finishing this Venison Processing Unit.

It has a large external canopy, providing an additional undercover area in which to unload and begin the butchery process.

Canopies can be designed and built to any spec, including extra washdown facilities for hygiene purposes as well as external rail and hoists to reduce the need for manual handling.

✨Good things happening at Goodtrees Farm Butchers! ✨

Here Indie Farmer shines the spotlight on Goodtrees Farm in East Sussex.

Operating from a purpose-built Fisher Butchery, they rear and process their own animals as well as providing a bespoke butchery service for local producers.

Originally built in 2022 we have since extended their facility to include a freezer and poultry processing area.

Not only is this feature a great opportunity to see the workings within one of our sites, it also tells a fascinating story of farming, diversification, the skill of butchery and an interesting discussion about the importance of small abattoirs.
