Starlink installation completed for a property where fibre broadband is not currently available.

Starlink is commonly used in rural and remote locations where traditional broadband infrastructure is limited or unavailable. However, it can be installed almost anywhere, provided the dish has a clear, unobstructed view of the sky.

Unlike conventional broadband connections, Starlink delivers internet via a network of thousands of satellites operating in low Earth orbit (LEO). A new type of install for us. We recently replaced a faulty FootfallCam system at Pandora, restoring accurate people counting and shop analytics.

FootfallCam is an innovative camera system that tracks the number of customers entering and exiting the store. It gives businesses real-time data and insights into foot traffic, while also adding an extra layer of security for the premises.

£300 a day is £78k a year apparently.

Here we go again.

That’s £300 a day before tax, before van costs, before fuel, insurance, tools, materials up front, public liability, accountant, downtime, sick days, holidays, gaps between jobs. But yeah… same as a salaried job with pension, paid leave and job security. The NECK on some of these comparisons.

No one’s saying vets or nurses don’t deserve their money. They absolutely do. But don’t act like trades just rock up and print cash. Most lads have smashed their bodies to bits by 50, no sick pay, no safety net, just graft.

If it’s that easy and overpaid… build it yourself. Price the jobs. Take the risk. Chase the non-payers.

Funny how everyone moans about trade rates until their boiler packs in on a Sunday.

Intruder alarm upgrade completed ✔️
We reused the existing PIR sensors and upgraded the control panel, keypad, and bell box to meet the customer’s needs.

The new system offers remote access, instant alerts, and convenient fobs for easy setting and unsetting — making everyday security simple and stress-free. 🔐📱

We recently upgraded the CCTV system at a busy wholesalers site, replacing outdated equipment with 4x Serage 5MP Colorful Analogue cameras.

The difference is night and day. Sharper image quality, and far more efficient monitoring across the site.

The first images show our new installation. The final two photos show the previous system for comparison.

Recently taken over by new owners, we were called in to install CCTV and upgrade the existing alarm system. 7 x IP Cameras installed and set up with remote viewing. Euro 76 alarm panel replacing an old scantronic 9448, to allow the customer remote access to control the alarm and view alerts.

Our team recently completed a 20-camera IP CCTV installation for a client using Serage equipment, featuring a mix of bullet and dome cameras for full coverage.
We also installed an 8-way switch at the far end of the building to handle the longer cable run, and the system is fully set up for remote viewing — complete with a wireless mouse for easy operation.

We recently helped a local favourite — Soccorworld — upgrade their CCTV system across both indoor and outdoor pitches.

The old cameras were replaced with Hikvision dome cameras, providing clear visibility and enhanced security for players and staff alike.

We really enjoyed this install and seeing the difference high-quality monitoring can make!
