Useful information from Baxi

Like so much of the country, we’re snowed under right now!

Because of the weather conditions we are receiving a huge volume of calls and our engineers are in high demand. And like so many other people on the road, our engineers are struggling to get to some parts of the country and we are committed to keeping them safe on the roads.

We are prioritising people who have no heating and hot water and are doing everything we can. We have also implemented additional measures to try and help.

If your boiler is showing the error code E133 (or E28 for some models) , your condensate pipe may be frozen. This means your boiler will shut down to protect itself. We have a video to show you how to thaw your condensate pipe here:

Hope you’re all keeping warm and safe. Not sure Tom will manage to get the van out today, our street is looking pretty bad and I hear the main roads aren’t much better. Schools are cancelled so it’s going to be a snowman building then movie kind of day here ❄️☃️❄️⛄️❄️☃️

Here’s Tom braving the snow to try and repair a customers boiler who has returned from holiday to a very very cold house 😫😨
Note his use of vehicle, the one which is usually too embarrassing to be seen in! Whilst his new VW Van and beloved car won’t get off the drive my little yellow car is today’s emergency repair vehicle 🤣 #
