Remember when Checkatrade was genuinely about connecting people with reliable, local tradespeople?

I've just received their latest publication and noticed that every locksmith listed is part of a large national company—not the dedicated local professionals genuinely invested in serving our community.

These companies might advertise 'local' numbers, but your calls are often routed through impersonal national call centres who all take their cut. I strongly recommend you do your homework before calling a locksmith you believe to be local.

When you call me, it's always me who answers, me who attends the job, and me who personally ensures quality and accountability.
