1,000 Checkatrade reviews later, we're still doing things the same way.

When we started Haven over 30 years ago, the goal was never to collect reviews.

It was simple: do the job properly, look after people, and leave every home better than we found it.

This week, we received our 1,000th Checkatrade review, and we couldn't think of a better one to mark the occasion.

Here’s what nobody tells you about getting a new uPVC door fitted…

You’ll probably spend ages thinking about the colour, the glass, the handles and what style will look best on your home.

But the part you might not think about?

Who’s actually fitting it.

Because even a great quality door can cause problems if it isn’t installed properly. Draughts, doors that catch, locks that don’t line up properly and a finish that just doesn’t look quite right.

We’ve been fitting windows and doors since the 90s, and one thing we’ve learnt is that the little details make a big difference.
