👋 MEET THE TEAM 👋

Next up in our Meet the Team series is Claudio, our Hire Controller! 🚚📋

Claudio plays a key role in keeping our hire operations running smoothly, helping manage everything from the initial customer booking right through to equipment being collected and returned.

From coordinating deliveries and collections to working with customers, drivers and our internal teams, Claudio helps make sure the right equipment gets to the right place, at the right time, and comes back when the hire is finished. 💪

When he's not keeping our hire operations organised, you'll usually find Claudio spending time with friends and family, catching up on some much-needed sleep, or playing football whenever he gets the chance! ⚽

🍖 Favourite food: Ribs and paella. And preferably a big portion of both! 😋
✈️ Favourite holiday destination: Brazil. Great food, great atmosphere, beautiful places and, of course, plenty of football! 🇧🇷⚽
❤️ Likes: Watching films with his friends and son, travelling and exploring new places, playing football, cooking, and pretty much anything involving good food and good company.
🚫 Dislikes: Dirty places, his football team losing, and...

🤖 AI taking over the world.
Having seen The Matrix, Claudio isn't taking any chances. 😂

And finally...
🍐 Pears.
Not because he simply doesn't like them, but because he's allergic to them, so they're officially on the banned list!

We think it's safe to say Claudio has given us plenty to work with on this one! 😂

🎙️ Question of the week...

If you could have anyone narrate your life, who would you choose?

🎬 Morgan Freeman
or
👨‍🍳 Gordon Ramsay

We even added a member of the Revive Recycled Plastics team this week, with Jermaine coming very close to winning! 😂

Now it’s your turn...

👇 Who would you want narrating your life? Let us know in the comments!
And be honest... would you choose Morgan Freeman for the voice, or Gordon Ramsay for the entertainment? 😂

So, what does a Group Strategy Director actually get up to?

Phil is focused on driving company excellence, from procurement and supply chain to systems implementation and policy improvements, while also looking for new opportunities to help the group grow. 🚀

👋 MEET THE TEAM 👋

Starting our Meet the Team series is the man at the helm of the Elite Group, our Managing Director, Kris! 👔

So, what does a Managing Director actually do?

Kris is responsible for keeping an eye on the long-term strategy and objectives of each individual business and the Elite Group as a whole, while working closely with the senior management team and department managers to keep everything moving in the right direction.

When he actually manages to escape work, you’ll usually find him in the gym, playing football, or spending time with friends and family. ⚽💪

🍜 Favourite food: East Asian food. He loves the incredible flavours and, of course, the spice! 🌶️
✈️ Favourite holiday destination: Too many to choose from, but if he had to pick, it would be Rhodes, Greece or Dubrovnik, Croatia.
❤️ Likes: Making the most out of every situation, living life to the max, and hopefully having plenty of fun and laughs along the way.
🚫 Dislikes: The fact that we can send people to the moon and back, but apparently still can't make a mobile phone call without it cutting out five times in ten minutes. 😂📱

We think that last one is something we can all agree on!
