Our team will be on emergency standby over the coming days to respond to any storm-related damage.

Whether working on historic buildings, industrial facilities, or residential properties, our technicians have the experience and technical expertise to manage a wide range of complex access and maintenance challenges. We are committed to delivering practical, efficient solutions for our clients, ensuring all property maintenance and structural access requirements are carried out with the highest level of precision and professionalism.

By utilising rope access techniques, our technicians can safely inspect, repair, and maintain structures without the additional costs and disruption associated with traditional access methods such as scaffold towers, scissor lifts, or cherry pickers.

The use of ropes within industrial environments originated from techniques developed in caving and climbing, and has since evolved into a highly specialised system used across numerous work-at-height disciplines. Today, rope access is widely used for tasks including pitched roofing, stonemasonry, cast iron repairs, and high-level gutter clearance.

Rope access offers a wide range of advantages over conventional access methods, including its outstanding safety record, versatility, speed of deployment, and cost-effectiveness. As a result, it is widely recognised as one of the safest and most efficient work-at-height solutions within the industry.

Our inspection teams have been operating at full capacity this last week, delivering multiple drone surveys and condition reports across the Scottish Borders, Central Belt, and East Lothian ahead of Storm Chandra. We remain fully operational over the coming week and available for emergency surveys and urgent structural emergencies as required.

Everest Rope Access and Roofing is an industry-leading provider of unmanned aerial inspections, supporting a wide range of sectors including rail infrastructure, renewable energy sites, petrochemical facilities, and both private and domestic properties.

The use of unmanned aerial vehicles for property and asset inspections significantly reduces risk by eliminating the need for working at height. UAV surveys allow safe, efficient access to hard to reach areas without the requirement for scaffolding or mechanical access systems. This non intrusive, contact free inspection method minimises disruption while delivering high quality results. A typical inspection is completed within approximately 40 minutes from take-off to landing.

All identified defects are captured using advanced high resolution imaging equipment and compiled into a detailed, client specific report. Each report includes annotated imagery, a clear written assessment of findings, and practical recommendations for remedial works where required.

All Everest Rope Access UAV pilots are fully trained, certified, and insured. Every flight is carefully planned in accordance with local airspace restrictions and logged with the Civil Aviation Authority to ensure full compliance with current legislation and guidance. Thermal imaging surveys are also available upon request.

If you, or someone you know, is living with unsafe or deteriorating roofing conditions and is unable to address the issue due to financial constraints, please contact us using the details below.
