Brian’s solution to our flooding problem has proven effective. It was tested during the recent flood and, for the first time, our house remained completely dry. What he identified and put in place has clearly worked.
We engaged Brian after discovering that, although our entire house had previously been tanked by another company, the area beneath the staircase had been omitted. We repeatedly tried to get the original contractor to resolve this, but without success. At that point, we were fortunate to come across Brian.
Brian assessed the property thoroughly and confirmed that the staircase area was indeed a weak point in the tanking system. He and his son then carried out the necessary remedial work carefully and methodically, providing reassurance around the solution. He was also kind enough to re-tile the area that had been disturbed.
The real test came during the most recent flooding, and nothing came through anywhere in the house. That outcome speaks for itself. While his services are not inexpensive — and we certainly felt the cost at the time — the result has justified the expense and given us peace of mind.
In addition, Brian has been generous with follow-up advice, including recommendations for suitable products to address damp and mould issues elsewhere in the property.
Overall, we are very satisfied with the work and the outcome.
