Another quality install by another one of Edinburgh's trusted traders. 🤣

Aico smoke alarms install in the incorrect locations and while we're at it, we'll cut the earth wires at the CU as the Aico smokes are double insulated. Oh, and lets just chuck it on a 16amp as we can't be arsed going to Screwfix to buy the correct 6 amp breaker. Unbelievable.

Well 3 weeks turned into 2 months, but were finally back to work on Thursday 28th May 2020. 🥳

We have been completing emergency call outs only during this time as per government guidance and believe that the safety and well-being of customers and other persons is of paramount importance throughout this lockdown.

It is our responsibility to ensure that when working in your homes or workplace we will be following the physical distancing guidelines and wearing appropriate single use PPE.

Please observe and respect the guidelines for all our safety.

We will be getting in contact with everyone who has made enquires during this lockdown to book in visits and works within the next few days and we thank you for your continued support. Please get in contact if we can help in anyway.

Personally, it will be great to see everyone again and get back to a semblance of normality.

On the back of the announcement from the government we will only be dealing with emergency situations for the next 3 weeks.

As an electrician we are classed as key workers but only in certain circumstances. Non essential works will not be carried out at this time.

Any loss of power, heating or hot water is classed as essential work along with a risk from electric shock from broken and exposed equipment. Electric showers which are always problematic are also in this category. We will cover these and try to attend within 2 hours as per our emergency service.

If you are worried about anything electrical please give us a call. We're happy to give advice on any situation that your concerned about and can give great advice on resetting tripping RCDs.

The health of our workers and our customers is paramount and we will be continuing with all the requirements needed to keep ourselves and our customers safe.
If you are showing symptoms of Covid - 19 please make us aware at the time of enquiry. We will always observe social distancing and wash or sterilise our hands before and after entry to your property.
