Landscaping is not just about how a site looks at the end. It is also about making sure the work has been completed properly, on time and to the standard expected.

That is why we keep clear records throughout the job, including:
✔ Before photos
✔ Progress updates
✔ Completion evidence
✔ Time-stamped documentation

It gives site teams a clear view of what has been done and when, without needing to chase for answers.

When landscaping is properly recorded as well as properly delivered, handover becomes simpler, questions are easier to deal with and there is less room for uncertainty.

For us, it is all part of providing a professional landscaping service that supports the wider programme from start to finish.

There is always something on site that needs attention.

Landscaping should not be one of them.

Our aim is simple:
Make landscaping the easiest part of your programme.

That means:
✔ Turning up when scheduled
✔ Completing work as planned
✔ Hitting deadlines
✔ Leaving plots handover-ready

No issues to chase.
No complaints to deal with.
No added pressure on your team.

Just a job done properly, at the right time, with everything in place.
Exactly how it should be.

If you have ever had to chase a subcontractor for updates, you will know how quickly it eats into your day.

We take that off your plate.

With our workflow system, everything is:
✔ Planned in advance
✔ Tracked in real time
✔ Recorded with clear updates

You do not need to:
• Call for progress
• Check what has been done
• Wonder what is happening next

It is all handled.

We keep things moving so you can focus on running the site, not managing landscaping.

Getting landscaping done is one thing. Seeing it through properly is another.

We do not just complete the work and leave. We make sure everything is:
✔ Checked
✔ Completed to spec
✔ Ready for handover
✔ Fully documented

If something needs adjusting, it is picked up early and sorted quickly.

That follow-through keeps sites running smoothly and stops small issues becoming bigger ones later.

For site teams, it is not just about getting it done, it is about getting it signed off without problems.

What Happens Before We Even Step on Site?

Most issues on site do not start on site. They start with poor planning.

Before any turf is laid or planting begins, we have already built a clear schedule of works based on your programme.

That includes:
✔ Task planning
✔ Site sequencing
✔ Material coordination
✔ Timing aligned to your deadlines

So when our team arrives, everything is ready to go.

No waiting for decisions.
No confusion about what’s next.
No disruption to your programme.

A smoother start leads to a smoother finish.

Landscaping should never be the reason a plot gets delayed.

We work to your programme dates from day one, building our schedule around your handover targets so everything is ready when it needs to be.

No last-minute chasing.
No uncertainty.
No surprises at the final stages.

Our team fits into your build schedule, not the other way around.
That means smoother handovers, fewer delays and one less thing for your site team to worry about.

When landscaping runs properly in the background, everything else moves forward as it should.

When you send us a programme, we do not treat it as a rough guide. We use ReFlow, our digital workflow management system, to turn those dates into a clear landscaping schedule for each plot and open space. That gives our teams a structured plan and gives site managers a clearer picture of what is happening and when.

That allows us to:
🔹 Align turfing and planting with habitation and mortgage milestones
🔹 Sequence work so streets and phases come together neatly
🔹 Give site managers a realistic view of what will be finished when

You get a more organised flow of work, with progress visible and site information easy to pull together, rather than guesswork around when landscaping might happen.

On a new build site, the lawn is often the final sign that a plot is ready for handover, so getting the timing right really matters. Our teams work to your programme so turf is laid when the plot is genuinely ready, not too early and not after everything else is complete.

We focus on:
🔹 Lawns laid cleanly to drives, paths and boundaries
🔹 Front and rear gardens finished for valuations and inspections
🔹 Plots that look ready for homeowners, not still in build mode

It’s straightforward, reliable soft landscaping that supports your programme instead of complicating it.
If you’ve got handovers coming up and you need plots looking “ready” on time, give us a call and we’ll talk dates.

Our typical client is a site manager, project manager or regional lead with far too much to juggle in a normal working day. We understand that, so we shape our service to make things easier rather than adding another layer of chasing and coordination. The aim is simple - clear communication, dependable delivery and no unnecessary noise.

We focus on:
🔹 Keeping instructions clear and simple
🔹 Delivering what we have agreed without drama
🔹 Providing enough information to close queries quickly

That means you get landscaping that feels reliable and easy to manage in the background, rather than one more trade demanding constant attention.

Would that style of partnership suit your current projects?

Most house builders simply want to know that what was agreed has actually been done. That is why we record before and after photos on each plot as standard across our new build sites. It is a simple step, but it gives your team clear visual evidence without the need for extra chasing or guesswork later.

That simple step gives you:
✔ A clear view of the plot before we start
✔ Visual proof of turfing and planting once complete
✔ A record that supports customer care if questions come later
It is a practical way to make quality visible and easy to refer back to when needed.

Would having that level of evidence make conversations easier across construction and aftercare?

We were delighted to sponsor the Overall Runner-Up Award at the recent ALBAS 2026.

The award was presented to Betheny Millar from Jedburgh in Roxburghshire, who has been completing an SVQ in Mixed Farming through Borders College while working as a Farm Worker and Attraction Manager at Kersheugh Farm.

Speaking after receiving the award, Betheny said:
“Winning an ALBAS award is an incredible feeling, and to be Overall Runner-up is more than I could have hoped for. I’d like to thank Gillian McFadyen, my tutor at Borders College, for nominating me, and my employers Jasmine and Fenwick Jackson and the team at Kersheugh Farm for giving me an opportunity to work in this sector.”

The awards celebrate the achievements of individuals developing their skills across Scotland’s land-based and environmental sectors, and it was fantastic to see so many talented people recognised for their dedication and hard work.

At Land Technology, we believe investing in people and supporting the next generation of talent is vital for the future of our industry, and it was a privilege to play a small part in recognising such an outstanding achievement.

Congratulations again to Betheny and all of this year’s nominees and winners.
