Updating a tenement flat (1870’s build) from the 1960’s and 1990 previous Reno’s. Bringing back the original charm with the owner. Ripped off the old door panels to reveal the original underneath.
Carpets up, floor boards exposed, fixed broken boards and sanded. Walls filled sanded, primed, painted. Finishing touches still to go.

It’s very popular in the UK to use Matt finish paint on the walls. This creates a difficult surface to clean and doesn’t reflect light. It can help hide any imperfections in the wall texture.
We choose a silk finish for these walls (gloss for doors and trim) and it’s turned out so well for the owners. Worrying about Spills and bumps on the walls are a thing of the past and the light reflection looks amazing, especially in the darker areas of the home.
