During April and May, fireflies light up the countryside in Taiwan✨✨✨

I still remember the excitement of seeing them for the first time with my family when I was a child. The warm, humid evening air, and the excitement of chasing tiny lights that sparkled like stars in the dark.

Looking back, it was such a simple and beautiful kind of happiness😊

台灣四到五月時，可以在近郊看見閃閃發光的螢火蟲，還記得小時候和家人第一次去看螢火蟲時的興奮心情，有點悶熱的天氣，追逐像星星一般的亮光，很單純的快樂。

We met while queuing at the Bologna Children's Book Fair earlier this year, and now we've met again.

I can still remember when I was a primary school student, we would do school exercise together in the middle of playground.

Under the scorching sun and in the humid air, with the catchy songs, we moved and sketched ourselves on the summer mornings. It has become a memorable experience and a precious part of our childhood, especially now that we realise how important staying active is as adults🌞🌞

記得國小時，全校會集合在操場上跳健康操，台灣的夏日陽光總是很強烈，搭配著洗腦的新式健康操音樂，可說是八年級生的童年動感回憶之一。雖然記得自己總是不甘不願地參與，但在現在忙碌的生活中，能每天動一動身子能釋放腦內啡是如此珍貴呢！

I had a wonderful, magical, and busy time at the Bologna Children’s Book Fair this year✨
Portfolio reviews, workshops and some meetings, I explored as much as I could💪🏻

Of course, the most significant part is my books and portfolio are displayed at stand, representing by our lovely tutors💛

今年度過非常充實的四天波隆納書展，開心感受到些許邁進下一步目標的機會，有點不捨得結束但也很期待未來的可能性💫

This screen print is another one which inspired by a memory from my childhood. 🎆🐚🦀

After school, a group of us would take the train to the beach, laughing and chattering all the way. We ran into the waves without a care in the world, the sea breeze carried the salty scent I can never forget. It was one of the most precious and unforgettable moments of my life.

I spent so much time on the positives for this print, It's a really difficult one! Happy that it's chosen to be the print of the week in printroom✨

搭著火車，一群孩子吵吵鬧鬧地到海邊，穿著短褲和泳裝、踏著浪花、撿起貝殼，潮濕悶熱的空氣裡，海風中那股鹹黏的味道是童年裡最無法忘懷的夏日回憶。

After my graduation show, I plan to create a series of prints inspired by my childhood✨

These works are based on the memories of springtime in Taiwan, when the cotton trees would bloom. Children would climb up the tall trees, lost in moments of pure freedom and joy. Those carefree times now feel incredibly precious to me!

'Finding the Red' is one of my works that will be displayed at the stand in Bologna this April. The story is about a pangolin who just moved to a new city and found the friendship by following the red.✨

This story had seven versions of dummies: wordless version, onomatopoeia version, personified ants version(creepy one😄)...
I still don't think it's the perfect version now, but i believe one day it'll turn out.

This is the first time I challenged myself to do limited colours which I am not familiar with. But I do like my sketches in black and white as well 🖤🤍 my tutor picked two of them in my portfolio!

穿山甲剛搬到一座大城市，他很寂寞和孤獨，直到有一天他看見了紅色的東西……
這個故事前前後後就調整了七個版本，一開始是無字書，後來又嘗試了加上狀聲詞，還嘗試把螞蟻擬人化的版本，但教授說看起來太殘忍了😆這個故事是我在研究所期間最頭痛的修改！

這本繪本也嘗試用了我不習慣的色彩計畫，算是一個挑戰，不過教授似乎更喜歡我的草圖就是😳

During the Moon Festival, when everyone celebrates together, Mr. Moon feels unbearably lonely. He takes flight, not only from the sky, but from his significant role, disguising himself so no one recognises him as the moon.🌝

Before the London exhibition, I reworked my Moon project. I experimented with screen printing to build layers for the background, and also changed it to a vertical page turn to represent the sky and the ground.

I'm pleased to share that images from this story have been longlisted for the Paper Bird Illustration Exhibition & Thames & Hudson Illustration Award.✨✨ Some of them will be part of the online exhibition running in May 2026.

這是一本講述月亮先生在中秋節時，決定罷工逃走展開旅程的故事。我在畢業展前，重新做了新版本的Where is Mr.Moon?，用網版來呈現夜晚的感覺，也改用上下翻頁的方式，象徵主角從天空降落下來！
