After contacting Zander he came to look at the job the same day. We gave him a bit of a challenge with a 20+ year old back door with a faulty latch, crumbling screws and an out of date mechanism. In view of the complexities he took a few visits to resolve the various issues. The job however was completed to our 100% satisfaction at a very reasonable cost. Throughout Zander was always professional, polite and friendly in his dealings with us and lines of communication between us were first class. We would have no hesitation using Zander again in the future if needed.

Went next door for drinks and meet our new neighbours and picked up the keys without the yale lock key. Obviously locked out ! Our lovely neighbours let us use their phones. We found Alexander Lyon of Lockfit. In spite of it being Sunday, after 7pm, Alex was at our door within 20 minutes. Our door was opened within a few minutes and we were back in. A highly commendable service if you ever find yourself in the same position.

I recently used Lockfit Edinburgh and the service was outstanding from start to finish. I was locked out late in the evening and expected a stressful experience, but they arrived much faster than expected and handled everything professionally and calmly.

The locksmith was knowledgeable, polite, and clearly experienced. He explained the issue properly before starting the work, opened the door without causing any damage, and even checked the lock afterwards to make sure everything was working smoothly. The pricing was transparent with no hidden charges, which is rare these days.

Our main door lock (it's a Barratts build...) started to fail a couple of weeks ago and today we called LockFit who fixed it perfectly. Zander came earlier than expected as a slot had been freed up, quckly identified the problem and replaced the lock with no hassle. Very professional and also fair pricing. Hopefully I won't need it but would certainly use their service again. Highly recommended."
