Another kitchen completed by DF Joinery.

A lovely shaker-style kitchen with matching pantry storage, finished off with warm oak-effect worktops and stylish herringbone splashbacks to tie it all together.

This project was a great example of how I like to work. The customer supplied and assembled the kitchen units themselves, as well as laying the flooring, while I took care of the installation, fitting, worktops and the finishing touches.

Not everyone wants a full supply-and-fit service, and that’s absolutely fine. At DF Joinery, I’m happy to work alongside customers who want to get involved, whether it’s to save a few pounds or simply because they enjoy being part of the project. Teamwork can produce some brilliant results!

A big thank you to the customer for trusting me with the installation. I think it’s turned out a cracking space.

Out with the old, in with the new! 👌

I recently completed this staircase transformation by removing an old staircase that had started to come away from the stringer. This wasn’t just an appearance issue—it was becoming a safety concern, as movement in a staircase can increase the risk of trips, falls, and further structural damage if left unattended.

I replaced it with a brand-new staircase complete with new balustrades, leaving the customer with a solid, safe staircase that’s ready for decoration and their own finishing touches.

If your staircase feels loose, creaks excessively, or shows signs of movement, don’t ignore it. Getting it checked early can help prevent more costly repairs and, more importantly, keep your home safe.

A recent project featuring custom wood panelling in a residential vestibule. This installation combines traditional craftsmanship with a refined finish, enhancing both the aesthetic and functionality of the entrance space. The colour selection finishes the space perfectly.
