Have you been advised that you require a Certificate of Lawfulness?
There are various circumstances where a Local Authority, solicitor or other professional may advise that a Certificate of Lawfulness is required to formally establish the lawful planning status of a property, development or use.
This could relate to:
✔️ Works or alterations previously carried out to a property
✔️ The existing use of a property or land
✔️ Proposed works where formal confirmation of their lawfulness is required
✔️ Historic development where the planning position needs to be established
✔️ Property sales or other circumstances where formal planning evidence is required
A Certificate of Lawfulness provides a formal legal determination from the Local Authority on whether the particular development or use is lawful for planning purposes.
If you've been advised that you require one, Houz Design can help with reviewing the circumstances, preparing the necessary architectural drawings and supporting information, and submitting the application on your behalf.
