Our Managing Director Murray Smith has written some words for our beloved Queen:
"People need someone or something to worship, to adore, to revere, to cherish. Someone to look to for inspiration, for hope, for security and, ultimately, to love. Many, many millions of people chose The Queen. They are now grieving the loss of the greatest woman of her generation and, perhaps, many more. She reigned during wars showing great empathy, over a period of great geo-political and social change, whilst somehow holding a family together that would have surely crumbled without her. She laughed often and made us laugh too with that cheekiest of smiles and eyes that never lied. She defined the word Duty with a steadfast commitment to a role she had no choice in taking 70 years ago.
She has bequeathed upon us an able King, passionate about the environment, who will be followed by potentially the most popular King and Queen ever. She may well have saved the Royal Family.
God rest her soul, long live the King "
