I love a bit of lead work and not being one to sit around I’ve been experimenting with the lead welding tonight…..on the left you’ll see a straight forward lead weld, on the right you’ll see what is known as a ‘capped’ or ‘tear drop’ weld….. my sister and ‘other arf’ however think it looks like amputated fingers 🤔🤣😍

A tricky section of roof that turns from a valley in to a saddle over a lower section of ridge in to a hip end….. all you thatchers out there will know what I mean! ❤️👍🏼
