🏗️ Another job completed by the team at GM Albutt & Sons! 💪

A full groundworks package from start to finish on this new concrete base.

We started by excavating and preparing the site and new drive way, followed by a foundation and block work and a well-compacted stone sub-base.

The area was then fully prepared with reinforcement steel and membrane, ready for the concrete pour. We supplied and laid the concrete before giving the slab a power-floated finish, leaving a strong, smooth and durable surface ready for its next stage.

Another job completed to a high standard by the lads, making the most of the good weather! ☀️💪

Another great transformation completed by GM Albutt & Sons.

The existing reclaimed sleeper retaining wall had started to fail, so we’ve removed the old wall and replaced it with a new, robust gabion retaining wall.

As part of the installation, we also incorporated 100mm x 100mm box section steel posts into the Gabions. These have been set in ready for us to return in the next few weeks and erect a brand-new boundary fence.

Another job completed from start to finish by the GM Albutt & Sons team.

Replacement roof on this agricultural building

The old roof has been stripped off and a new cement fibre roof has been installed with new barge capping up either side.

🏡 Another extension up to DPC 👷‍♂️

It’s been great to see this side and rear extension come together from the ground up.

Our team has completed:
✅ Site excavation
✅ Foundation trenches and concrete foundations
✅ Re-routing and installing new drainage
✅ Foundation blockwork
✅ Block and beam floor installation
✅ Brickwork and blockwork built up to DPC

Every stage has been carried out with attention to detail, ensuring a solid foundation for the next phase of the build.

Another recent project we’ve completed! 👷‍♂️🏡

Regardless of the really warm weather we’ve been experiencing, the lads have continued to put in the hard work day in, day out. A massive thank you to the whole team for their effort and dedication—it’s not easy working in these temperatures, but they’ve never let the heat affect the quality of their work. 💪☀️

Here’s a look at a recent project we completed, taking it from breaking up the old concrete slab, excavation and groundwork through to the compacted sub-base, damp proof membrane and steel reinforcement, all ready for the concrete slab.

Quality preparation is the foundation of every successful build, and we take pride in getting it right from the very beginning. 🥇 👊🏼💪

Over 200sqm of slabbing we’ve recently completed transforming the area around this farm house.
All old flag stones lifted ✅
Area dug out ✅
Some new drainage ✅
150mm of type 1 stone well compacted ✅
New slabs laid and pointed ✅
