Above the ceiling, the cable quietly did its job, feeding power to the halogen light below.

But the bulb burned hot—too hot. Wrapped in insulation, the cable couldn’t cool down. Night after night, heat built up, weakening it.

One day, a tiny spark appeared. Then another.
Hidden in the darkness, the cable slowly burned—while the light below kept shining like nothing was wrong.

This is why testing and inspections are essential.

Where have we been, you ask? 👀

We’re recently back from an incredible trip up to the Lake District – not just for the views (although wow… 😍), but to work on some beautiful holiday cottages for some great friends.

Hard work, fresh air, and some seriously stunning scenery thrown in… not a bad combination! Feeling very grateful for the opportunity and the memories made along the way. 💛

This week, we completed a total of six EICRs (Electrical Installation Condition Reports). We tested 16 consumer units, covering a total of 78 circuits. We will complete test certificates for each property.

Recently completed this first fix for The Caravan Gurus in Dereham, helping get their offices all set up and ready to go 🙌
