🔧 Another leak traced and sorted!
The customer noticed water coming through the ceiling below and understandably thought the toilet might be leaking.
After investigating, I traced the problem back to the shower enclosure. The old silicone sealant had failed, allowing water to escape around the tray and find its way downstairs.
✅ Old silicone completely cut out
✅ Area cleaned and prepared
✅ Fresh sanitary silicone applied around the shower tray
✅ Shower resealed and looking tidy again
A failed silicone seal might seem minor, but it can cause a surprising amount of water damage if left untreated.
If you’ve noticed damp patches, water marks on the ceiling below your bathroom, or tired/cracked silicone around your shower, it’s worth getting it checked before it becomes a bigger problem. 🔧🚿
