We are beyond proud to be shortlisted as FINALISTS in the ‘Conservation and Regeneration’ category of the London and South East Constructing Excellence Awards for Margate Digital Campus. 🙌🏻✨

Delivered on behalf of EKC Group working collaboratively with cost and project managers b&m and designers Lee Evans Partnership Margate Digital is the unique transformation of a vacant former department store on Margate High Street into a state-of-the-art digital learning hub. The £6million refurbishment repurposed over 2,000m² of redundant space into Further Education facilities focused on digital and creative industries. Revitalising a long-vacant town centre building into a vibrant learning environment, the project supports the regeneration of Margate while creating opportunities for local people to develop digital skills needed for future employment and contributing to increased activity and investment in the high street. 👷👏🏻

The shortlisting follows hot on the heels of being nominated for the RICS Regional Awards too! 🙌

Keeping everything crossed 🤞 ahead of the awards ceremony 🏆on 9th July in London.

Not only does 150 years in business make us Kent’s largest and longest standing regional contractor…apparently it makes us newsworthy too… 🙌🏻

We are honoured to feature in the latest edition of such a prestigious publication as Housebuilder and Developer Magazine.🤗

Check out the latest progress footage from Ratling Road, Aylesham where we are on-site delivering 39 new affordable homes for our client Moat Homes🏘️✨

Scaffold is down and all services are now live to the plots. Phase 1 is getting ready for client handover with Phases 2 & 3 pushing through 2nd fixing and finishing. 👷

Externally, patios and fencing have been completed to half the site with block paving finished and being installed to Phase 1. Groundworks prepping for first tarmac visit in May whilst driveways and pathways continue to take shape, works carried out by our team at Park Farm Civils🦺👷

Our team at Reina are delivering a turnkey in-roof solar PV package for us.🙏🏻 Sustainable living at its core with solar panels and air source heat pumps implemented.♻️✨

✨🏡Seasalter Site Update 🏡✨

Great progress continues on our Seasalter development for The Hyde Group Official FB Profile! 👷👏🏻

Despite the recent challenging weather 🌧️groundworks have powered ahead at an impressive pace and we’ve successfully completed the road junction at Seasalter Lane — now open to the public — and works have begun on the Church Lane junction, expected to continue for around 3 months (weather permitting).

🏘️ Construction is moving quickly, with nearly two-thirds of homes now at internal fit-out stage, and all trades fully underway. 🙌🏻

💦 Water is connected with electric installation ⚡scheduled for early May, coordinated with current roadworks 🛣️ to minimise disruption.

💌 We’re proud to maintain 85% local labour and sourcing locally to reduce our carbon footprint and support the community.

🔨 What’s next?
• Timber frame er****on continues…
• Traditional masonry homes progressing…
• Ongoing works linking Church Lane to Seasalter Lane…

The site is independently inspected monthly for health, safety, and environmental standards — with very positive feedback and another award in recognition of this! 🏆

Following hot on the heels of Margate Digital Campus (EKC Broadstairs College), we’re proud to have delivered another fantastic project for longstanding client EKC Group — this time expanding facilities at EKC Sheppey College 🏫🙌🏻

Part of Swale Borough Council, this new 2-storey building brings 900sqm of modern learning space to the Isle of Sheppey — supporting the next generation in creative, engineering & logistics sectors. 👷🦺

Designed by Lee Evans Partnership, the space blends a bold, urban aesthetic with practical, future-focused teaching facilities.✨🤗

Not once, not twice but for the third time we have been rewarded with The Bricks Site Recognition Award from LABC Warranty for the consistent quality of workmanship and site management shown by our team in the delivery of Seasalter Housing – 220 affordable new homes near Whitstable in Kent that we are delivering on behalf of The Hyde Group Official FB Profile working closely with Employer’s Agent Calford Seadon 🏘️

The team were presented with their award this month and which is firm recognition of their continuing efforts to deliver the multi-phased residential development, which is progressing well. 🙌🏻❤️

Very well done to all the team for your hard work and dedication! 👏🏻✨
