Jenner Contractors Jenner is a privately owned regional chartered building company that undertakes construction projects Our mission is clear.

We are rich in tradition with the origins of the company dating back to 1875 but we are also forward thinking in the way we approach the challenges of a modern construction business. We operate within a number of sectors within the construction industry including affordable housing, education, healthcare, community, commercial, historical buildings and private housing. The value of projects we und

ertake within these sectors ranges from £10,000 to £16m and a selection of these can be viewed within the projects section of this website. Based in Folkestone, Kent we employ approximately 100 staff who work within our Contracts and General Works departments. Generally our Contracts department undertake larger value projects typically in excess of £1.5m, whilst our General Works department which includes 30 directly employed skilled trades people undertake smaller value projects. We also have a joinery department, Park Farm Joinery, who provide a vital supporting role to our construction business. We strive to provide the very highest quality in terms of the work we produce on site and in our management approach, maintaining open and honest dialogue, transparency in our negotiations and above all else to achieve complete client satisfaction by delivering projects on time, within budget and to an exceptional quality.

(Another) Care Sector Contract commences…

We are building a new are home in Maidstone for Barchester Healthcare. 😊✨

This luxury care home will provide personalised residential, dementia and respite care for older people in Maidstone and the surrounding areas from early 2028. 👏🏻

It will include a cafe for residents to socialise and enjoy freshly baked treats, spa bathrooms for a luxury bath time experience, beautiful en-suite bedrooms with smart TV’s, a choice of comfortable lounges, a dedicated activities room, a cinema for an authentic movie experience, and in-house hair and beauty salon for a little bit of pampering. 💆🏼‍♀️💇🏻‍♂️

Our in-house Groundwork team Park Farm Civils have been taking care of all the ground work aspects. 💛👷‍♂️

We are incredibly proud to announce that Jenner Group has been shortlisted for the Building the future awards , taking place this November!

Jenner has been shortlisted for (Large) Employer of the Year – but that's not all! 🎉

Our Head of Communications and Business Development, Ella Sandall, has also been shortlisted for Role Model of the Year.✨

Alongside her role at Jenner, Ella dedicates countless hours to supporting the wider community. She is a trustee for Donations With A Difference, a governor at EKC Group, Co-Chair of the Kent Invicta Chamber of Commerce, Vice Chair of Constructing Excellence Kent, and a member of the Kent and Medway Business Fund Investment Advisory Board. These roles are all voluntary, reflecting Ella's passion for giving back, supporting others, and helping to shape the future of our industry. 🙌🏻😄

We are incredibly proud to have Ella as part of the Jenner Group team and congratulate her on this well-deserved recognition.☺️

Our Bench Joiner Apprentice, Rosie Payne, has been shortlisted for Young Apprentice of the Year.🙌🏻

Rosie has been with Park Farm Joinery for two years, and we couldn't be prouder of everything she has achieved. Her accomplishments already include winning the 2026 EKC Group KFE Competition and the 2026 SkillBuild Regional Competition, with no doubt many more successes to come.😄

Since joining PFJ, Rosie's confidence and self-belief have grown tremendously. She has become a real asset to the team, and we hope her success inspires more women to consider a career in a construction trade.🤞

👋CLINTON CLOCKS-OFF FOR THE FINAL TIME 👋

As Site Manager Clinton Dunn hangs-up his site safety boots for the last time today, we bid a very fond farewell to a loyal and much-loved member of the Jenner team as he retires after 19 years of dedicated service.👏🏻

In delivering many challenging and complex projects for us since joining Jenner back in 2006, most notably his penultimate project delivery of Margate Digital Campus, Clinton’s dedication, skills and warm demeanour will be greatly missed from the Jenner team as he heads into his next chapter to enjoy life at a (slightly) more leisurable pace on the coast with his family and to travel more. From schools to housing developments and so much in-between Clinton’s project portfolio is vast and his skills-set is impressive with bricklaying 🧱, electrical 💡 and carpentry 🪚trades under his belt from a young age. He has always loved to teach others and share his knowledge and for passion construction with younger generations whilst openly confessing to never having stopped learning himself as the industry has continuously changed and evolved. ✨

Clinton, from us all at Jenner, we thank you most sincerely for your many years of loyal service, hard work, and commitment to delivering to the very highest standards and always with a smile on your face. We wish you every happiness in your retirement, but please don’t be a stranger (we’ll need you for holiday cover!) ❤️

💡S O C I A L V A L U E S P O T L I G H T💡

Jenner have stepped in to once again put the social into value, this time through the provision of our in-house trades 🔨🪚 from within Park Farm Construction to support ‘Streets Ahead Collective’ to transform a rural base in Hersden (on the outskirts of Canterbury), currently the home of retail outlet Necessary Furniture to bring forward new facilities that aim to engage Canterbury’s most vulnerable residents through structured creative projects that build confidence and belonging. 👷

This latest social action project has also engaged students from EKC Folkestone College as a learning project to gain vital hands-on experience working alongside highly skilled trade operatives, ensuring that whilst we support our local community we are also nurturing future generations. ✨

The team have also offered expertise in fundraising and project management to ensure the charity have been fully supported every step of the way. ❤️

The project is progressing at pace thanks to the efforts of our hardworking volunteers and will ultimately create 8 Artists studio pods 🎨, workshop space, a community gallery, the ‘Create and Connect’ shed 🛖and a community kitchen too 🍰☕.

Great work yet again 👏

Back at RBVE as their Centenary Village continues to expand…

Following the successful delivery of earlier phases of the RBVE Centenary Village we are delighted to be back on-site undertaking construction works to deliver phase 2C which consists of 3 houses, 1 Block of 7 flats and 2 Blocks of 5 flats - associated services and installations. 🏘️✨

On Block B2, we have installed the 1st floor pre-cast concrete planks and stairs from ground floor to 1st, and we are now working on the 1st floor superstructure with the 2nd floor planks that were booked for the 3rd of July. 👷🛠️

On Block B3, the 1st floor pre-cast concrete planks and stairs from ground floor to 1st floor have been installed and we are now working on the 1st floor superstructure with the roof trusses due mid-July. 🦺🏗️

Block B1, the superstructure works are progressing well and the 1st floor planks and staircase were booked for 22nd June. 👷‍♂️

And for the Houses, the superstructure works have commenced, and the 1st floor joists have been installed. 🏠

The next stages on all three Blocks and the houses will have their 1st floor in place by the end of June and superstructure work will be continuing. Roofing works will commence later next month. 🚧

Last week we officially broke ground on the new Barchester Care Home development! 🚧🎉

Scheduled for completion in February 2028, this purpose-built Care Home will provide 67 bedrooms, creating a modern, and welcoming environment for future residents.☺️

The development will feature a traditional masonry construction, complemented by precast concrete floors and staircases to deliver a durable structure. Sustainability is a key focus of the project, with triple-glazed windows, solar PV panels, and air source heat pumps helping to improve energy efficiency and reduce the building's environmental impact.🌏🔋

We're pleased to be working alongside Holden & Lee and look forward to seeing this exciting project take shape over the coming months. ✨

Taking it back to 2019 with this standout project in Ashford — a state-of-the-art brewery that’s truly unlike anything else in both appearance and location. 👀

Designed by local practices Hollaway Architects and MLM Consulting, this build pushed boundaries and delivered something genuinely unique.✨

We loved every part of bringing this project to life and are just as proud looking back on it today ☺️

We are beyond proud to be shortlisted as FINALISTS in the ‘Conservation and Regeneration’ category of the London and South East Constructing Excellence Awards for Margate Digital Campus. 🙌🏻✨

Delivered on behalf of EKC Group working collaboratively with cost and project managers b&m and designers Lee Evans Partnership Margate Digital is the unique transformation of a vacant former department store on Margate High Street into a state-of-the-art digital learning hub. The £6million refurbishment repurposed over 2,000m² of redundant space into Further Education facilities focused on digital and creative industries. Revitalising a long-vacant town centre building into a vibrant learning environment, the project supports the regeneration of Margate while creating opportunities for local people to develop digital skills needed for future employment and contributing to increased activity and investment in the high street. 👷👏🏻

The shortlisting follows hot on the heels of being nominated for the RICS Regional Awards too! 🙌

Keeping everything crossed 🤞 ahead of the awards ceremony 🏆on 9th July in London.
