Step outside the door and you are almost immediately on the Dava Way path which stretches right from Grantown-on-Spey to Forres through some of Morayshire's most beautiful scenery. Soft burnsides and hill lochs provide perf

ect spots for picnicing. Ten minutes further on the salmon fishing of the River Findhorn beckons (see side bar for booking information). Within half an hour the stunning golf links of Castle Stuart, Nairn and Inverness entice all standards of golfer, while the endless sea views, dolphins and seals of Findhorn Bay and Culbin Sands are a must. For those who crave a bit of civilisation, the renowned Malt Whisky Trail traverses Morayshire's historic distilleries, and the famous Elgin Woollen Mill is the place to stock up on Scottish cashmere and winter woollens.
