The entire team works hard to ensure everyone stays safe 365 days a year, holding Toolbox Talks and exercises to ensure that, in the event of an accident occurring, everyone would know what to do.

After 13 hours of walking across some very rough terrain (and they have the blisters to prove it!) the ScotAsh team completed the Trossachs PLOD on Friday night into Saturday, in aid of children's charity, Action Medical Research. A huge well done to Ross MacNicol, Peter Goodwin, Louis Caine and Ross Cameron for getting through the 50km challenge – and turning up for work as usual on Monday morning. Fundraising will continue, so if you haven't donated yet, visit http://www.action.org.uk/sponsor/scotashplodders.Every £1 raised makes a difference.

Thank you for visiting our fundraising page. On 22nd August the ScotAsh team of Ross MacNicol, Peter Goodwin, Louis Caine and Ross Cameron, with Jim Donnelly and Karen Seivwright as support crew, will be taking part in the Trossachs PLOD, a 50km walking endurance challange.

29/07/2014

Thanks to a brilliant effort by all the team, ScotAsh has been awarded a fourth Gold Medal in the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents’ (RoSPA) Occupational Health and Safety Awards 2014, for maintaining our excellent health and safety performance.
RoSPA only awards Gold Medals when a company achieves five Gold Awards in a row. To date ScotAsh has achieved EIGHT consecutive Gold Awards and four Gold Medals.
A health and safety week took place recently, with staff participating in various events including: a site evacuation drill, hazard identification and risk assessment, safe driving, healthy eating and exercise, work-life balance and learning about the new mobile plant audit standard.
Regular “toolbox talks” covering a range of health and safety issues help to keep every member of the workforce safety aware and working as a team to avoid incidents.
