Quick Update on Jamie

We’ve had loads of messages asking how Jamie’s doing thank you all for checking in!

After managing to break his T12 & L1 vertebrae he’s been through spinal fusion surgery which has resulted in a lot metal being placed into he’s spine and is now smashing through rehab and physio. He’s doing incredibly well still stubborn as ever and now fully convinced he’s Wolverine with the new metal in his back!

Massive thanks to the contractor who’s put his own work and business aside to help us finish off a few jobs while Jamie recovers absolute legend.

And huge shoutouts to these awesome local
Business’s that has helped us in some way over the past couple of weeks JD Print LTD, Wills Wiring Services, E-Factor & The Business Hive, Grant Combat Academy, and AlphaCeramics LTD for all the support we honestly can’t thank you enough.

Finally, a big thank you to all our customers who’ve been so understanding and supportive during this time it really means the world.

Jamie’s in great spirits, recovering fast, and will be back on his feet (and probably doing too much) before you know it.

Important Update

We regret to inform our customers that our head plumber, Jamie, has had a crash which has resulted in a Broken back and will be unable to fulfil upcoming arrangements. We have a few trusted trades who can fill in for us.

We will be reaching out to all current bookings over the coming days to discuss rescheduling or alternative arrangements.

Thank you for your understanding and support during this time. We wish Jamie a full and speedy recovery.

We have a small team who can fill in with some smaller jobs.

Got a call from a lady convinced she could hear water running under her floor, but there wasn’t a single sign of damage anywhere.

After some serious detective work, we tracked it down to a tiny pinhole leak in the most awkward, back-breaking, swear-inducing spot you could imagine.

The fix? We had to perform plumbing “surgery” on both sides of the wall just to replace the sneaky bit of pipe.

Leak fixed. Pipes replaced. Mystery solved. And yes—we earned a brew after that one.

Phone rings. Returning customer. Emergency.
He says: “Jamie, I’ve put a screw through me central heating pipe.”

Fair enough, happens all the time… until…

Next line: “So I lifted the floorboards to check the damage…”

Good initiative. Responsible thinking.

…then he goes: “…and I put me circular saw through the pipe as well.”

Leak Fixed.

We’ve battled on the mats… but this time, I won.
This bathroom was for a fellow jiu-jitsu training partner his chokes might be questionable, but his new bathroom? Absolutely on point.

Small but mighty:
Digital shower
Rainfall Shower from the ceiling
Custom glass with Mr & Mrs initials (thanks to our friends at synergy for hooking us up)
Wall-hung vanity unit
LED mirror for that perfect post-roll selfie

We had problems, delays, and more drama but unlike his guard, this bathroom holds up.

It’ll look even better when the ceiling is painted.

This property had water pressure so bad, you’d get more flow from a hamster sneezing.

After a bit of detective work with the inspection camera. We found the culprit a scale inhibitor hiding behind a cabinet with 20+ years of limescale build up. Basically, a fossil at this point.

Cut it out, swapped it for a shiny new one, and now the water’s blasting.

Weekend plans? Catching up on that back Log
Yeah, just us… ripping out a radiator the size of a small car and replacing it with two sexy little heat slingers at either end of the room.

Of course, we used our fancy LED spirit level because eyeballing is for amateurs and we like our radiators straighter than your mate after two pints.

Let’s Get it

Started the morning poolside (don’t worry, we weren’t sunbathing), cracking on with some plumbing work for a regular.

Then it was off to fit a shiny new water softener & filter system for one of our returning customers they know we only do things the soft way

Wrapped up the day helping out one of our retail clients over in lovely Louth with some essential plumbing bits.
No job too big, too small, or too splashy.

Playing catch up!
We’ve been flat out behind the scenes, elbows deep in pipes and cups of Coffee and White Monster 👑

Finally coming up for air to show off this beast of a job for our friends over at Synergy Glass & Doors
We ripped out and replaced 30+ metres of waste pipe
It was long, messy, Hot and full of surprises (just like a plumber’s playlist).

We’re back, we’re caffeinated, and we’re ready for the next one.

Shifted that stubborn old stop c**k to somewhere you can actually reach and popped on an easy-turn lever valve because your wrists deserve a break too!

Gave the pipes a cheeky refresh half modern wizardry, half old-school soldering that smelled suspiciously like burnt toast.

We had to keep this as close to the wall as possible so dishwasher can sit flush with kitchen units.

And just to show off, fitted a slick new thermostatic shower so your mornings start hot, steamy, and under control… unlike us after our third coffee.
