🏠 Another milestone reached on site!

We’re making great progress on this development, with 6 of the 8 plots now built. 🙌

We’re just waiting for the porticos to be finished off on the completed houses, and then it’s on to the final two plots to complete the development.

It’s great to see the project really taking shape — another quality development coming together brick by brick. 🧱

It’s that time of year again! 👷‍♂️🧱

We’re thrilled to welcome our newest apprentice, Jack, to the team!

Jack joins us with plenty of energy and enthusiasm, ready to start building a rewarding career in Brickwork. He’s already showing great technical ability, a strong work ethic and a fantastic attitude towards teamwork — all the qualities we love to see in a new apprentice. 👏

We’re looking forward to supporting Jack as he develops his skills, gains experience and grows into the trade. We can’t wait to see what he achieves!

We’d also like to say a huge thank you to Aldershot Construction College for their continued collaboration and for the fantastic work they do supporting young people into the construction industry. We’re proud of our ongoing relationship with the college and truly appreciate their continued supply of talented, hardworking students.

Please join us in giving Jack a very warm welcome to the team! 👏

🎉 HAPPY BIRTHDAY, JOE! 🎉

Our second milestone birthday of the year, so we couldn’t not do another AI post! 😂🤖

Where would Southern Area Brickwork be without Joe?!

Joe joined us nearly 20 years ago as a hod carrier, and today he’s our Projects Director. What a journey! 👏

But Joe is so much more than his job title. He’s a leader to our apprentices, everyone’s go-to for advice, a friendly chat or a bit of banter! 😂 He’s someone people can rely on, learn from and have a laugh with — and that’s what makes him such a valued part of the team.

🧱 He’s the sand to our cement, the bond that holds us together… although sometimes we’re not sure if he’s here to build the team up or take the mick out of everyone! 🤣

Jokes aside, Joe leads by example and has an incredible work ethic. You can learn a lot on the job, but that level of dedication? If you’re lucky, you can develop it — but if you’re really lucky, you’re born with it. Joe definitely falls into the latter category. 🌟

Everyone at Southern Area Brickwork has huge respect for Joe, but no one more so than Tony. He’s been Tony’s right-hand man for years, and that speaks volumes about the trust, loyalty and respect between them. ❤️

Joe, thank you for everything you’ve done over the years and everything you continue to bring to the business. We’re incredibly lucky to have you on the team, and we hope you know just how much you’re appreciated.

Here’s to you, Joe! Have the fantastic birthday you deserve. 🥳🍻

From all of us at Southern Area Brickwork — happy birthday! 🎂🧱

🧱 Half a day’s work from the team!

Two bricklayers and a labourer helping out a busy local builder on the start of a single-storey extension.

We were happy to lend a hand and get the brickwork underway, making good progress in just half a day. 💪

The extension is still ongoing, but these photos show what we managed to get done in our first few hours on site.

We’re always happy to help keep local building projects moving when an extra pair of hands is needed.🤝

🏠 Two new-build homes completed in Molesley.

A look at the front and rear elevations of these two new-build properties, where we completed the brickwork and supplied all materials from the ground up. 😍

A traditional design with plenty of brickwork detailing throughout, including feature bay windows, decorative bands and brick detailing around the openings.

Another pair of new homes brought to life with quality brickwork. 👌

A short insight into a day on site ✨ 🧱

Laying the last few courses up to soffit level, a clean finish, joints brushed off and just the gables left to complete on this new build house in Windlesham.

Another one taking shape, brick by brick 👌🏼🏡
