job in clermiston a few weeks back

bedroom 1
client wanted the paper off the wall after they had a look at the paper painted and it didn’t look the best then i stripped the wall back to prepare it to put up a feature paper that they where very happy with the work, skirtings in the room including the cupboard and ceiling.

bedroom 2
feature wall was originally black it was going to be painted all one colour but a wee change was made for it do be green, ceiling and skirtings done also.

living room
walls where all stripped back to be prepared for re lining whiling lining the walls we ran out of lining paper so had to wait a day to get some more so i made a start to the ceiling and skirtings.

hallway
i wasn’t ment to strip the walls but some of the paper was already coming off so i gave it a tidy up to look a bit better than it was the wall on the left with the banister the window wall that wall was just painter as that is what the client decided, the woodwork in the hall was all done except doors.

keep forgetting to take after photos 🙈

day one of the job started in clermiston yesterday

the client wanted the wallpaper covered up so the first thing i done i wiped the wallpaper down to get any dust off it and then took hooked and tv stand off and filled all the holes, once that was dry i started sealing the paper back using zinsser BIN primer so the paper would not come start to come off due to the reaction of the water based paint selected by the costumer, one that was dry i cut in the room with the salt hills silk emulsion due to the walls not drying i could get much progress on this rooms so i gave the woodwork a coat of quick dry gloss after sanding them down, the rooms is ready for the ceiling and woodwork to be all sanded down and then finished.
