Both ceilings were given 2 coats of white emulsion.

2 coats of ‘Ivory Lace’ were used on the kitchen walls.

2 coats of ‘Orchid White’ were used on the lounge walls.

Blinds put back up and everything put back as it was previously.

Thorough hoover throughout too, including above the kitchen units.

Finally looks like we’re gonna get some rain soon!

If the current forecast stays the same, I can get any interior painting and decorating/indoor work booked-in and completed.

Slowly getting towards the end.

It’s been pretty much 16 years since I started out in my business and being Self-employed.

I’ve never had another job.

In this time I’ve learnt a whole lot and I’ve carried out many jobs for many people in various locations.

There have been many times where I feel like packing it all in, but with all the likes/shares/follows and recommendations I have been motivated to carry on.

This is basically just a thank you to everyone who has supported me.

Keep an eye out for more posts to come, as this is certainly shaping up to be an extremely busy year for me.

Part 1 complete.
Now time to clean the brickwork and move on to the next area.

All of the old and cracking caulk was removed using a Hamilton precision scraper.

Old peeling and flaking paint was scraped and the areas were sanded.

Edges of peeling paint were treated with Zinsser Peel Stop.

Sadolin ‘Teak’ woodfiller was used on all of the areas shown.

Once the filler had dried, a thorough sanding took place in order to smooth the area.

Before any painting could take place, the entire door and frame were cleaned with a cloth dampened with methylated spirits in order to remove any surface dust.

2 coats of Sadolin classic stain in ‘Burma Teak’ were applied, this acted like a Primer would, sealing the filler in and preventing any bleed-out and lighter, patchy areas.

The job was finished with 3 coats of Sadolin extra durable stain, this was used as a top coat which also acts like a barrier to prevent from UV damage and other weather elements.

Good morning all.

Just a quick post regarding my regular clients, especially ones who I carry out any gardening maintenance for…

If you feel like you don’t want your mowing to be done due to the dry weather, please don’t hesitate in mentioning it to me.

I am still more than happy to carry on as normal if you’d like, even if it’s just strimming/weeding etc.

However please get me booked-in as soon as possible as I am currently starting a huge re-pointing job on the Estate where I live so I will have limited time at the moment.

Sorry for the inconvenience, I hope you can all understand.

It’s certainly been a long day getting these hedge cutting jobs done.
