Trainee Project Manager – Exhibitions & Events
Are you highly organised, creative, and eager to build a career in the fast-paced world of exhibitions and events? We’re looking for a motivated Trainee Project Manager to join our growing team and support the delivery of exceptional live experiences.
About the Role
As a Trainee Project Manager, you’ll gain hands-on experience working across a variety of exhibitions, trade shows, and live events. Supporting senior project managers, you’ll help bring projects to life from concept through to delivery.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist in planning and delivering exhibition stands and live events
• Coordinate suppliers, contractors, and logistics
• Support budget tracking and project timelines
• Liaise with clients to ensure expectations are met
• Help manage on-site event setup and breakdown
• Maintain project documentation and reports
About You
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• A proactive, can-do attitude with attention to detail
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Interest in events, exhibitions, or project management
• Willingness to travel and work flexible hours when required
Desirable (but not essential)
• Degree or relevant qualification in events, business, or project management
• Previous experience (internship, placement, or part-time) in events or hospitality
