Petition: Ban the sale of used power tools at car boot sales and markets

We think car boot sales and markets are a major reason for tool theft from vans. Many tradespeople have their van broken into and have their tools stolen, which can deprive them of their livelihood. Replacing tools is not cheap, and we want the Government to take action to tackle tool theft.

Radiator change, the customer explained "like for like size" just different style 🤓

but we got it fitted and gave off much more heat than the towel rail.

Great job at a customer who first wanted to fit a dishwasher into a cupboard so had to create the space and plumb in, then they had a mirror that needed fitting, bit heavy! and lastly to fit a rainwater diverter into the drain pipe to the water butt.

Customer had leak from 2 places, couldn’t stop the water 💦 I freed the stopcock and stopped it. Then preceded to remove the old cistern and pan connector. The toilet was loose so had to re-drill the holes in the floor and then fix all in place with an isolation valve in place now so water can be turned off if any issues. Job was a bit longer than first estimated but customer was informed all the way and they are very happy with the final result, cistern fitted and working well. 👍🏻

Had to remove some radiators , 2 temporary and one permanent. Draining the system was sooooo slow but got them drained and capped the permanent one and also the customer wanted an easy to get at cover so I used magnetic catches.
New radiators to be installed once they have the walls plastered.

Got a call out, “immersion not working, I can’t get hot water”
When I arrived I asked again what was the problem and was told “there was no water, at all from the hot tap” So wasnt immersion but ballcock had a bit of limescale 🤣 so preceded to change and all working now 👍🏻
