Welcome to the new Linear Carpentry work van 🙌

Some might see just a van — but to me it represents years of hard work, graft, and sticking at it. Proud to be in a position where I can finally upgrade.

No more clunks, bangs, or a dashboard lit up like a Christmas tree 😅

Carbis Bay – 8 Week Photo Dump 📸🔨

Big progress on this one.

✅ Internal studwork complete
✅ Ceilings nogged out and ready for plasterboard
✅ External ply nearly wrapped up – zinc cladding up next

We’ve also got a serious feature incoming…
A 12.5m glass door (glass pending 👀) and a stunning skylight ready to flood the living space with natural light.

Proper transformation loading on this project.

Long overdue update! 👷‍♂️🏗️

What a difference 2.5 months makes! We’re now three storeys up using the incredible R-Wall system, the studwork is mostly wrapped up, and by the end of the week we’ll have the roof joists in and decked—ready for the roofers to get the GRP on.

Christmas might be closing in, but there’s zero sign of us slowing down. 🚀

Amazing how quickly we’ve reached three storeys. Final pour happening this week, and then we move straight into getting the roof on. Great progress all round! ⚒️

🎉 Another milestone at our Carbis Bay build!

The first storey is up and the concrete’s poured — a big step forward for the build 🙌 Now we’re getting everything ready for the posi joists arriving on Monday, which will really start to bring the structure to life.

We’ve also fully wrapped the outer walls using the Newton Waterproofing System to protect the parts of the building that will eventually sit underground — keeping things dry and durable for years to come. 💪

Everything’s right on track, and with the R-Wall system, we’ll have the next two storeys up before you know it!

We're steaming ahead on our Carbis Bay project.

Gabion baskets have been finished for now minus a few extra to be installed at a later date.

The first delivery of R-Wall products arrived which was their fantastic R-Floor - Under Slab Insulation System. Super easy to install and the benefits of this system compared to traditional builds is incredible!

We then had a 2nd delivery from -Wall containing their ICF boards - Insulating Concrete Formwork boards. After a couple hours of training by Ollie from the company, the first row is complete and ready to hit on Monday morning!

The build is really picking up speed now and won't be long before we're in the dry working 👌🏼

What a start to our new Carbis Bay project!

Monday morning we were taking down the old property, and by Friday evening all that remained was a pile of soil 🫡

Next week we’ll be cracking on with:

• Installing more gabion baskets

• Further excavation to reach the right heights and levels

• Specialist training to install the fantastic products from R-Wall
