These images were created by a client using AI to help visualise the proposed architectural design and bring the concept to life.

While we traditionally communicate our designs through sketches, drawings, and 2D architectural visuals, AI software is becoming an increasingly valuable tool for quickly translating early-stage concepts into more immersive representations.

By combining our initial sketches and Adobe-based design work with AI visualisation tools, clients can gain a clearer sense of the atmosphere, materiality, and overall feel of a project much earlier in the process.

In this instance, the client has taken our design proposal and transformed it into a compelling visual interpretation of the final outcome.

Early design concept for a single-storey barn dwelling

The concept focuses on:
– A clear structural rhythm expressed through a primary frame
– Open-plan internal organisation anchored by a central living volume
– Controlled apertures to balance long-range views with solar gain and thermal performance
– A limited material palette, prioritising durability and contextually appropriate finishes

Exploring possibilities through design.

As part of this project, we developed a series of elevation studies to help our client fully visualise how the scheme could evolve.

By testing a range of materials, finishes, and architectural details, we were able to demonstrate how each choice would influence the overall character of the building.

This process allows us to refine the design collaboratively.

Thoughtful design is about exploration, and every study brings us closer to the right solution.

Every project is an opportunity to create spaces that inspire, function seamlessly and stand the test of time.

This was an early concept we proposed for a client in Henfield, a more elaborate design exploring form, materials, and spatial experience.

From concept to completion, we bring vision, precision, and creativity to every detail.

We were pleased to secure planning consent for this ambitious proposal to transform a 1980s timber-framed Scandinavian house into a contemporary architectural residence. The design carefully reinterprets the existing structure and introduces a refined material palette.

The project reflects the practice's early ambitions: to sensitively rework existing buildings while delivering thoughtful, contemporary design.

Site Update – Shermanbury Project

Construction works began on site in October for our residential project in Shermanbury, following the successful planning approval for a substantial rear extension and internal alterations.

The project is now underway, with early works focused on preparing the existing structure for the new addition and reconfiguring the internal layout. The extension will significantly expand the rear of the property, creating a more open and connected living environment while strengthening the relationship between the house and its garden.

It’s always exciting to see a project move from drawings into reality, and we look forward to sharing further progress as the transformation continues on site.

We are delighted to be working with Runnymede Homes again on this development of four homes in Gomshall.

Building on a previous architect’s design, our role focuses on refining and simplifying the construction while preserving the character of the fantastic Arts and Crafts architecture.

We are providing both the planning and technical design for the project, which is currently in the planning stage. We look forward to seeing this thoughtful development progress.

We're pleased to share that planning approval has been granted for one of our recent residential projects in Shermanbury.

The proposal introduces a substantial rear extension alongside a series of internal alterations, carefully designed to transform the existing home and create a more open, light-filled living environment. The extension strengthens the relationship between the house and garden while providing flexible spaces suited to modern family life.

Our design approach focused on enhancing the character of the existing building while introducing a contemporary addition that sits comfortably within its setting. The internal reconfiguration improves the overall flow of the home, unlocking the potential of the existing structure.

Following a successful planning process, we're looking forward to progressing the project into the next stages of development.

➡️ Swipe to see our latest site update from Wargrave 🏗️

We've received the latest photos from site as demolition work begins on the existing property, clearing the way for an exciting new pavilion-style home for our client. It's always a significant moment in a project when the first physical steps on site begin, marking the transition from design to reality.

This new build is set to become one of our most ambitious and exciting architectural projects to date, and we're looking forward to seeing the vision gradually take shape over the coming months.

We'll be sharing regular updates from site as construction progresses and in the coming weeks we'll also be giving a sneak peek at the finalised architectural drawings behind the design.

Reimagining a local landmark in Worthing ✨

At the end of 2023, we completed a feasibility study and submitted a planning application for the addition of a new storey to this locally listed heritage building.

The proposal carefully builds on the building’s distinctive Art Deco character, drawing inspiration from its original proportions, geometry and detailing.

Our design explores how a sensitive top story extension can enhance the building’s presence while respecting its historic identity.

By continuing the rhythm and elegance of the existing façade, the new storey aims to feel like a natural evolution of the original architecture, celebrating the past while preparing the building for its next chapter.

Currently in planning 🏡

We’re working on the conversion of an existing stables in the Surrey Hills into a self-contained annexe for a family member.

Sensitive, contextual, and designed with family in mind.

We’re looking forward to sharing more as the project progresses.
