No fire door too big or too small! This is an understairs cupboard used to accommodate electric meters etc at a lovely Georgian property that is divided up into flats in Cheltenham. We made the door opening as big as we could and made a custom sized fd30s doorset as well as well as fire stop inside the cupboard to achieve a 30 minute fire rating as per the fra report.

Another job complete! 3x replacement fd30 door and frames at The Royal George which is a beautiful pub in lingen! (Beer cellar, kitchen and door leading to bar area. The kitchen and door to the bar operate on a electric system which allows the doors to be held open for free access but will self close when the fire alarm sounds.

Eariler this year we completed the installment of 62 fire rated doors to a care centre in Hereford. Lots of forward planning with the joinery manufacturers and Herefordshire Council to get the job up and running and working closely with staff we successfully installed all doors on time and all doors have since been signed off by the FRA inspector.

We like to do as much preparation off site as possible, not only to be more efficient but to minimise disruption to clients. We can install a complete door and frame set within a day even if a paint finish is required as we pre paint off site so only have to touch up on site.
❌️no return visits to decorate
❌️no having to prop doors open for paint to dry
✔️minimal disruption to clients

Door and frame replacement today, prevous door failed due to previous contractor using an off the shelf fire door (6'6" tall) and cutting it down to fit in a 6' opening, not only does it look bad but you are only allowed to cut upto 6mm off the bottom of these particular doors! For custom sized doors we use door blanks that can be cut to any size and we can replicate designs if required. Everything we do we comply to regulations.
