A customer had an outside light not working. Turns out there was no power at the light due to the cable just sitting behind a socket. A fused spur with a 3 amp fuse was fitted and now the lights working great

Customer had an extract fan which wasn’t very efficient or venting to outside. A new inline extract fan was installed, a 100mm hole was drilled where the customer wanted it (due to replacing an old hole for an overflow pipe for this ducting). An internal fit ducting kit was used to go through the wall avoiding the need for tall ladders on the outside. Now it’s extracting all the mist really quickly.

Customer needed to upgrade the cables going from the meter to the fuseboard for extra capacity to install a car charger....

Customer needed to upgrade the cables going from the meter to the fuseboard for extra capacity to install a car charger. The fuseboard was 5 meters away so I suggested and installed an alternative. A fuseboard in the meter cupboard plus a fuse carrier to protect the smaller cables going to the fuseboard.

That’s another summer house with power with some great looking lights out the front 👍

So in my day job I have to deal with a large building management systems. Today a steam actuator (electronically controlled valve) heating up a hot water system went faulty. So I had to take one from another bit of plant and install it here, whilst in a 30 degree heat plus room, working over steam pipes and lagging 😨. I Than calibrated it and monitored it 👍

Had to install an outside socket today but to do so I cut a hole in some boxing in to get my cables through and filled the hole with another socket!

Installed a couple more sockets for a holiday let today 👍
