Liddle forestry Professional felling, extraction and harvesting content! We are fully insured and all our operators are fully trained for the operation.

Liddle Forestry are contractors in the North East of England and the Scottish Borders who carry out various hand cutting operations . We specialise in the felling of large, oversized trees that forestry machinery find very difficult to deal with. We also have a tractor and a winch that we use to pull trees from remote places that no other machinery can access. Liddle Forestry are holders of multip

le contracts with the Forestry Commission throughout northern England. We currently have eight full time members of staff working for us who all follow our strict health and safety policies. Liddle Forestry are now conducting tree surgery as we have two fully trained competent climbers to our disposal. Please feel free to call us for a free quotation!!

We’re pleased to have been awarded the FE Natural Regeneration Removal Chainsaw contract covering Kielder and the surrounding Forestry England areas.

Having previously carried out sections of this work, it’s great to have successfully secured the contract again, this time covering a larger area.

It’s another positive step as we continue to build the business across different areas of forestry, expanding the range of work we undertake and continuing to grow our team and fleet. 🌲

🌲Experienced Harvester Operator Wanted

We're looking for an experienced Harvester Operator to join our growing team, operating a 2022 Ponsse Scorpion Giant.

Areas of work:

- North East England
- Yorkshire
- Scottish Borders

What we're looking for:

- Proven experience operating harvesters.
- Confident working on steep ground.
- Variety of work on different terrains.
- Experience working alongside hand cutters.
- A strong focus on quality over production.
- Professional attitude with good machine care and communication skills.
- Relevant FMOC tickets and first aid + F

Desirable:

- Ability to undertake digger work when required.

This is an additional machine to our expanding fleet, offering consistent work for the right operator.

- Self-employed position
- Hourly rate (competitive, depending on experience)

One year ago today we bought our very first purpose-built harvester. It was a huge milestone for us and the start of an exciting new chapter.

Over the last 12 months we've gone from strength to strength, growing the business, taking on new opportunities, and expanding our fleet. Looking back, we're incredibly proud of how far we've come in such a short time.

A massive thank you to everyone who has supported us along the way – our customers, suppliers, family, friends, and the hardworking team who make it all possible.
