Thank you to all the parents and pupils who visited our exhibition yesterday, it was great to see you all! Well done to our brilliant artists who made the show a great success. I think everyone especially enjoyed watching the fashion show! Well done too to our winners at the Downley Art Show - happydoodle children made a clean sweep in the 5-12yr category!

As many of you know this is our last exhibition and course at happydoodle. Jane and I are having a break from art provision, but will continue to be active at the school helping with art sessions where possible. We have had such fun spending time with all our happydoodlers and seeing their confidence and creative skills develop over the years, We thank parents for supporting our little business and hope we have made a positive difference in the art education of your children.

Our lunchtime happydoodlers from the Downley School are exhibiting at the Downley Art Show this week, pop in to see some great local art! It's at the Downley Community Centre 6:30-9pm weekdays and 11-3pm Saturday.

Hello all! Downley Makers Spring Market is gambolling into town this Saturday from 11-2, at the Memorial Hall. It's a great chance to get some Spring gifts and treats and support your local makers. A fabulously festive time was had by all at our Christmas workshop yesterday! Our happydoodlers enjoyed making woodland creatures and their festive homes. As ever their imaginations astounded us; disco foxes, a candy cane shop, a number of light-sabre wielding Badgers and many style-conscious festive abodes. Thanks to our lovely happydoodlers and their families for your support this year. Jane and Lian would like to wish you all a wonderful Christmas and very Happy New Year!

We're beginning to feel festive here at happydoodle HQ and excited to announce our Christmas Workshop date is 21st December. We've planned 2 hours of creative Christmassy fun with lots of our art and craft activities. Our Doodlers will be making a woodland creature and a cosy festive home to keep him in. Rubbish weather! Fancy a couple of hours tomorrow kiddie free? Grab one of the last remaining spaces on our summer workshops; we're off to the land of dreams! There will be lots of art activities and games, in true happydoodle style! Children get to bring their dream-inspired masterpieces home. There are three sessions 10am-12pm, 12:30-2:30pm and 3-5pm, places are limited, just give us a call on 07815 768331 to check availability. woo hoo! Happydoodle Summer Workshops are back! Join us on 25th August for a happydoodle art adventure to the land of dreams! Using a variety of art techniques the children will make a secret painting and a magical dream sculpture, as well as enjoy our usual art games. See the flyer for details.
