Choosing the Perfect Grey – My Top Picks

Finding the right grey can be tricky—it’s all about getting the right tone for the right space. Here are a few of my favourites that I regularly recommend to clients:

Farrow & Ball Cornforth White – A lovely mid-tone grey with warm undertones. It’s perfect for bedrooms and cosy living areas where you want a calm, welcoming feel.

Farrow & Ball Ammonite – A soft, fresh grey that works beautifully in entrance halls and light-filled spaces. It brings a clean, modern feel without feeling cold.

With 45 years of experience in the decorating world, I’ve had the privilege of learning from my late father before taking over and continuing our family business. Over the last 20+ years, I’ve been transforming spaces for clients such as Fullers and Imperial College.

I’ve lived in Buckinghamshire over 40 years with my wonderful wife; raising our 4 daughters, and 6 grandchildren (and counting!). Now, I’m working locally, bringing my experience to help make your house a home.
