🏡 It’s certainly been a busy few weeks on the building side!
Things are really starting to come together on this extension and redesign of the existing house. 🔨

Everything will be skimmed out by the end of the week, ready for the next phase of internal works to get underway.

Once that’s complete, we’ll be moving on to a full silicone render to both the new extension and the existing house, giving the whole property a fresh, modern finish.

It’s great to see the transformation taking shape — plenty more to come! 👌

Our groundworks team has been making excellent progress on Phase Two of a project we started earlier this year, and we're pleased to say it's all coming together ahead of handover next week.
Work completed to date includes:

✔️ Site scraped and prepared, ready for hardcore to be levelled and roller compacted.
✔️ Full site clearance, with all excess materials and waste removed.
✔️ Electrical ducting installed for the main power supply.
✔️ Stormwater drainage installed to the water storage system, including water pump installation. Electrical ducting has also been installed from the pump to the garage, ready for final connection.
✔️ Foul drainage system installed.
✔️ Manhole chambers installed to connect the complete drainage network.
✔️ Excavated soil relocated to facilitate collection by grab wagon.
✔️ Pin kerbs installed.
🚧 Sleeper installation is currently underway.

It's great to see another project taking shape, and we look forward to completing the final stages and handing the site over next week.

This is without a doubt one of the biggest driveway transformations we've undertaken, and once again the whole team pulled together and did Multiworks proud! 💪

This project involved a wide range of specialist works, including:

✅ Full site clearance and excavation to the correct depth
✅ Hardcore base installed, compacted, and hydraulically rolled
✅ 50m of feather edge board fencing
✅ Split-face mosaic tiles to the front and side elevations of the house
✅ Blue engineering brick retaining wall
✅ Indian sandstone paved area
✅ Block paving rumble strips
✅ Timber retaining sleeper work
✅ Geotextile driveway-rated membrane installed
✅ 280m² of driveway gravel grids, professionally graded and installed
✅ Recessed manhole covers finished with a sleek resin finish
✅ 10mm decorative gravel laid across the entire driveway and grid system

The finished result speaks for itself! 👌
